After a bit it was like not sure what else I can say. Full of contradictions, but entertaining. At the end, she made an excellent dirty martini with Mediterranean notes for me and hubby a twist on an old fashioned. I then asked for a refreshing drink and she delivered. At one point the place was full and 5 large frat boys walked in, and it's a small space. She told them there wasn't room and to come back later. Not sure what they said, but she told them sorry not here. It was funny seeing them walk out shocked and in disbelief. Same theme as everywhere else, be patient, be polite and it's reciprocated. Not, find the door. To find the place look at my picture of the door and pay mind to map location

Our friend who had been there before mentioned that the bartender wasn't really interested in being nice but rather in making really good drinks. You tell them about your tastes and they make a custom cocktail for you. They will act a little bit bothered but they are great at their job. It's fun! Try to have fun. Anyway, it's peak speakeasy vibes with moody lighting and old fashioned decor. The music is even straight from the 1920s. It was a great place to enjoy a couple of cocktails that were out of the ordinary and essentially once in a lifetime. And our bartender was moody and talented. All in all, a great place to check out.

Saw the bras hanging as we walked in, made me chuckle. We were seated right away, in a small room with a fair amount going on. I picked the Jim Morrison along with the fries and lovely K had the Janis Joplin, also with fries. Both choices were a very good sized portion with a good amount of fries. The JM stated it's spicy, and it was indeed so. The JJ is also a good sized portion, but it had too much going on for K. What really let the meal down was the fries. They were not hot, and had been cooked too long. The outside was crispy with a good crunch, but the interior was not what we were looking for. Could have been epic with nice fries, but they missed the mark by just a bit.

Is it a place to immerse yourself in Czech culture while enjoying a traditional Czech Beer? No. Should you be slightly embarrassed if you find yourself here every weekend? Perhaps. It is however the best place in Prague to meet a ton of other study abroad kids from all over the world while singing along to all your favorite 80s and 90s songs. The drinks are pretty standard but the atmosphere is great and it's always packed on the weekends. It's also located near other fun bars so if you find yourself needing a change of scenery all you have to do is stroll down the street (a major bonus when it's February and 20 degrees outside at night).

I came in and went downstairs to find myself right in the middle of the dancefloor with music blasting, fog everywhere, and people dancing on a table. I was pretty sober, by myself, and at least 10 years older than anyone inside. I sat down at the bar on a tiny stool... I think they were hearts and ordered a drink from a bartender wearing a pool floatie. The place has a fun party scene going on and it's somewhere I probably would have stayed all night partying fifteen years ago. This time around, I was glad to see my friend texted with the bar I was meeting him at so I finished my drink and slipped out.

You get what you pay for. The bar is the only Tiki themed…read moreplace in Prague to my knowledge. Not too crazy, but nice. The cocktails are soso. Comparable affordable. We had four different ones. The All About Ece and Spank My Monkey were best. Both came in nice Tiki mugs too. Not high Standards but nice drinks. The other two were different. Lawa Flow was the better one, but compared to the first pretty flat. Pina Colada was worst, with a taste of a pre mixed drink, too much cream and cheap Barcadi. We decided to stop right after.

Everywhere I travel, I seek out Tiki bars. On a recent trip to Europe I wasn't surprised to find…read moredecent places in London or Paris, but had low expectations for Prague. To my surprise, Tiki Taki is a fantastic bar with delicious drinks, a great bartender (Daniel), lots of ephemera, an entertaining mix of customers and a quirky origin story. I went on a Sunday night and there were about ten other customers. Their bar back was new, and wasn't able to answer my questions, but the bartender Daniel quickly came around and helped me customize a Zombie. It was well balanced with fresh ingredients and decent rums. I also had a Suffering Bastard which was more gingery than I'm used to, but it was quite tasty. It was like a Dark & Stormy with more character. Lastly, Daniel graciously let me order off menu and made a Navy Grog. He hadn't made one before, but it came out okay and I appreciated him making the effort. The owner Jason and his girlfriend were there when I visited. Jason was friendly and hospitable, sharing the story of how he created his first home tiki bar and eventually opening his shop in Prague. They don't have their own mugs, but serve some drinks out of other bars' mugs which is fun. It'd be great if they eventually make their own though. I really wanted a memento of the visit. The bar itself is well and thoroughly decorated with mostly typical Tiki decorations. lots of bamboo, paintings, tikis, tapestries and the like. One stand out is the Pac Man machine embedded in a barrel in the corner of the bar. It'd dark and has the vibe of a dive-y but thoughtful tiki bar -- my favorite kind. If you like bars like Tiki Ti or Forbidden Island, you'll feel at home in Tiki Taki. Lastly, the other patrons were a mix of quiet tourists and local Czechs who had no idea what a tiki bar was and were just ordering beers. No one was rowdy or rude, and I found it fun to watch them try to figure the place out over a pint of Pilsner Urquell. The menu even has a 128 word paragraph about Tiki Bar etiquette in both English and Czech. So I imagine the mellow atmosphere I experienced isn't always what you get there. But it think this makes it unique and fun. I had a great time visiting here and will definitely make a trip back if I'm ever in Prague again. Mahalo Daniel and Jason!
