We highly recommend MJ Prep and Donovan Kelly. My daughter was extremely apprehensive to testing…read moreand ACT Prep. Mr. Kelly immediately made her feel at ease with the process. We purchased 8 - 2 hour sessions to prepare her for the Mar and June ACT. He came once a week initially and then we moved to every 2 weeks toward the end. He was prompt, encouraging, thorough, and did not waste any time once he arrived at our home. My daughter really enjoyed her time with him and felt it help to prepare her in ways she could not have done on her own. He identified areas that she needed the most help with and helped her to use her time more wisely. She increased her overall score by 6 points. We were extremely please. Mr. Kelly is fabulous!

His admin called me the night before to cancel as she said we were outside of their service area. I asked if they did not know this two months prior when I made the appointment. I offered to find an alternate tutoring location once the assessment was completed but asked that they conduct the assessment since we waited TWO MONTHS. Michael Jordan refused and proceed to email me, blaming me for not reviewing a map on his website. He was flippant and rude to the point where I had to ask him not to email me again. The person that referred me to him said they would NEVER recommend this company to anyone ever again. If I could rate "zero" stars, I would. Found the most amazing SAT tutor later.

I thought I was being clever when I price-shopped Texas real estate courses and found this was the…read morelowest price. I figured if it was an authorized provider of the required 6 courses, should be ok. Turns out you get what you pay for. Curriculum material is riddled with grammatical and spelling mistakes. The slides were very outdated - felt like the early 2000's. Quizzes were very poorly written and a lot of the questions didn't make sense. Really didn't make me feel like I was preparing for the license. Also, nowhere on the website does it mention that you have to find and pay for your own proctor to do each of the 6 exams. Since you have to take the first exam before you can continue to the next course. You can't just take all 6 exams at once. The website boasts of no hidden costs, but really you're looking at shelling out $20-30 per exam...so up to $180 extra in cost. You have 14 days to try to get a refund, but by the time you finish one course and realize how hard it is to find a proctor...you're probably outside of that 14 day period. If you look at their BBB, you'll find they have IT issues occasionally like emails not going through or website being down. They never have picked up the phone. A side note that isn't highlighted well on the website is that the courses expires 1 year from enrollment. I would recommend going with a more reputable provider like Kaplan.

Just say NO! It's…read morereally a question of you get what you pay for...in this case, its cheap and the course content is awful. Also the quizzes are incorrectly coded. I'm not sure I'm learning anything so I've bought a book to supplement my class. Try Kaplan instead - I have friends who recommended that as a better option after I started this trainwreck. Here's an example of a multiple choice answer that I had yesterday: Answers. A. B. C. Neither A or B D. All of the above The correct answer was A and B. You see the problem?
