They had texted me the day before to confirm the booking which was great, but Friday comes it's 12pm and I get a text that they are on the way. I was confused and in the middle of work - had immediately asked why the deviation from previously agreed 2pm, asked for an ETA so I could plan when to leave and never got a response. I ended up going over to the apartment, called the person who then told me it would still be about 20 minutes till showing up. At this point, I was already pretty irritated. When they arrived it was fine - showed the 2 cleaners where to park and helped them bring some tools up the entrance stairs. They finished up and locked the door behind them no problem. I ended up paying the price I was estimated which was great so no surprises. When I went back to the place to check, I noticed the same smudged footprints from our movers, debris, straight up dirt on the ground and product streaks on the counters and toilet. The fridge and microwave which did need their focus, were spotless. I texted the person I had communicated with and asked if they even cleaned the floors with pictures attached. She did quickly remedy this by having a cleaner return in the morning to do the floor. Overall, I am grateful for the work they did and the price I paid. But between the scheduling mixup and the floors being missed, I just don't think I'd be able to hire them again. Just be careful if you book them!

I had paid for a deep cleaning of a small bathroom. I was on my way to a third surgery that very day right after the cleaning appointment, and just wasn't with it enough to request a good scrubbing and mopping, which is what it really needed (dark tile, so need for cleaning not as obvious, but definitely needed "deep" cleaning). Even the vacuuming was poorly done. After a lengthy period of recovery, I finally contacted the owner a few months later via email to ask if mopping the floor was part of what they considered deep cleaning. No reply to initial email. Sent a followup email about a week or so later. Owner replied, did apologize for delay due to illness. Also apologized for the floor issue. Acknowledged my concern, even gave a referral to another cleaning service if I didn't want to give them another try. What I would have preferred was to have someone come out free of charge and finish the job that I paid for, but I let it go. If it were my business, that's exactly what I would have done, including not sending the original cleaner.

Here we are chatting and I'm on the verge of hiring them - and they have no self-awareness - no understanding of what it's like to communicate with their confusion machine. If there's confusion in the sales process, there will certainly be confusion once they land in my home. Yelp provides this form and then relays it to the vendor - and it's evident in the job chat. Very confusing that a company wouldn't know how Yelp works when they use it regularly for their business.
