That's when I learned it had a name: sciatica. For a while, I tried to manage the pain with basic stretches, but last year I decided to get an X-ray--just to be safe. The results were honestly shocking: I was diagnosed with L4-L5 disc degeneration, which was the root cause of all my pain. So I started physical therapy.
