worst service around... trying to cover up mistakes they made on a few shirts by patching them and made holes in a few of the shirts, and now they won't even pay for them when they were brand new. i have the receipt and tags when I bought them. When I brought them in they were not damaged, when I picked them up they were damaged and now they don't want to pay.... What a pile of crap I say.... read more

Stopped by the store and asked if they had a "Seamstress" and the person at the front desk responded with "I only wash the clothes." I asked if she could ask someone else or the manager. She left and came back with "He said he doesn't have time to talk to you." I did speak to the corporate office which did apologize, and mentioned that they do have a Seamstress on hand. read more

I had a stain on a beautiful Tommy Bahama shirt. I took it in for Dry Cleaning and it was removed the first time without damage to the silken sheen of the fabric. I will relieved and impressed. read more

I recently moved to Sun Prairie from Fitchburg and found this location to be just as good. Friendly staff, good coupons, fast service with notifications when the order is ready. If I could give a zero star review I would, this was the worst experience I've had at a dry cleaner and will NEVER have Klinke do my dry cleaning ever again. I left my Calvin Klein Dress at 7:30 Friday morning to be cleaned and have a couple of stains removed. Clearly, left the dress for professionals to remove the stains, vs trying it at home. ( Preface, the stains were not on the white part of the dress and it was white) I had a wedding to attend to Saturday night and needed it ready. They stated it would be done by 4pm that Friday. Just in case it took a little extra, I waited till Saturday morning at 11 am to pick up. I show up and my dress is not done. I believe her name was Heidi or Hayley, at the West Side on Ironwood location where I dropped it off, was very nice and great customer service, she called her manager to inquire when the dress would be done and let her know I needed it for a wedding that day. She stated the manager said 2pm and that she was tending to the stains. I said that's fine I will come to the main st location to pick up the dress. I show up to the main st location and the people at the front had no idea where my dress was or what I was talking about. They called the manager up and she knew about it and stated it was not done yet and in the wash. At that point I came unglued, you don't tell someone or promise someone it will be done the same day and then when its not ready the following day and tell them it will be done by 2pm, not have it ready. That customer better be top priority! Then finally she admits that they damaged my dress. There was no apology and nothing they offered me. I asked for my money back and wanted money for my dress being damaged. Supposedly they refunded my cleaning bill but I have yet to see it on my account. They said they needed to keep my dress to send to show proof it was damaged. Most places you can just send a picture???? So I said I want my dress back, I lost all trust in them and walked out. I had to go and buy a brand new dress for the wedding last minute and showed up late because of it. Best part is in the pictures, the "professional dry cleaner" washed the dress in hot water and made the dress bleed its bottom red color. I could've done a better job at home avoiding that by washing it in cold water.... such a rookie mistake. I'm not as angry about the dress being damaged, even if it was my favorite dress. I am more upset that they did not apologize, they did not empathize, and they weren't honest with me at 11am that it was damaged. That way I would've had plenty of time to find a replacement. They knew damn well what my situation was and they gave me attitude instead. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! read more

When my shirt came back looking and feeling like poster-board (and sounding like it too when I shook it), it says that quality control is not a priority. Speaks volumes when you let that pass through. Expensive, and poor quality - they need competition, and I welcome it. read more

I used to like bringing my things to this cleaners (lots of coupons, quick turn-around), but when I call you at 4:58 (and you close at 5) because I'm 2 blocks away and want to make sure you don't close down, and you tell me you've already counted your drawer and can't re-open it because there's no manager present...I will now take my $60-$100/month of business elsewhere. read more

I dropped off my favorite suit jacket to be cleaned at the Klinke Cleaners on Main Street in Sun Prairie. It was an expensive ladies white suit jacket fully lined with a beautiful sheen on the fabric. When I returned to pick it up it was gray. I was heart broken. They had obviously cleaned it with really dirty drycleaning fluid. It was so gross knowing it had other peoples clothing dirt in it. The color was so gray I didn't even recognize it. I told the person at the counter it was a totally different color. He said I had to come back the next day and talk to the manager. When I returned the next day the manager agreed that it was bad, she would try to fix it, and to return in 2 days. I returned to pick up the jacket and was told it wasn't ready. I came back 2 days later and the person at the counter could not find the jacket and had to call the manager to ask about it. At that time I was told it still wasn't ready and to come back on Tuesday since she had off untill then. I returned on Tuesday and was told by the employee that he couldn't find the coat. He tried to call the manager again but she did not answer that time so I ended up coming back the next day. So if you are counting that is 6 times I went back trying to get my jacket. When she bought it out from the back it was whiterthan before but the seams still looked gray and the fabic no longer had it's beautiful sheen. It was just white and dull. The fabric is so damaged it looks like it was washed in a machine with rocks. In addition, the coat has completely lost it's shape. Not to mentioned they somehow managed to rip the button off the front. I couldn't believe anything could be ruined so badly. I don't usually dry clean things because it is expensive and I don't have a lot of really nice clothes. That jacket was the nicest piece of clothing I have ever owned and now it is ruined.I was so deeply disappointed I just took the jacket, the button, and left. From what I had read online it is almost impossible to get dry cleaners to pay for damaged clothing anyway. I will never take anything to be cleaned there again. I have had nothing but good experiences with Klinke Cleaners until today. I dropped off my pants at about 9:00 AM and they guarantee "in by 10, out by 4". I pulled in at 4 PM and was told that they didn't get them done. So now I have no pants to wear to work on Monday. Way to honor your commitments! read more

This place and the Grand Ave branch provides the worst service in the business. They lost my drying cleaning and I didn't hear back until well over a week. On top of that the clothes were not dry clean according to my request, wrinkles everywhere and no starch as requested in jean. I had them redone and they came back the same way. No restitution was offered by manager nor owners except to say we apologize it happened. I'll never used these places again. They give you what they want you to have, service is next to last and mostly last. Beware! read more

Prompt service. I've always had a good experience with this Klinke Cleaners location. However one time I submitted a coupon and they used the wrong one so I didnt get the right discount off which made me mad. I even pointed the coupon out to the girl that helped me out when I dropped off my items. read more

We have been long term customers, very unhappy with last experience. We forgot our coupon in our bag and the staff would not accept it or give us one to use with the order. We bring drycleaning in every two weeks and have spent alot of money at Klinkes. We are hoping the new Klinkes that has opened up in Sun Prairie will have better customer service for there regular customers. read more

Overall I've had good experiences here. The email coupons are a plus and the staff is generally nice. The prices for the laundered shirts are reasonable (with the coupons) but the dry cleaning services can get pricey. Will keep going! read more
