This eatery is inside an old mill, general store. The sausage gravy and biscuits were outstanding along with the mushroom and cheese omelette. A very reasonable place to eat cost wise With a good selection of food. The customer service is the best around. read more

Since my first review (when I hadn't eaten at Klings Mills) I have eaten there twice. The first time, my friend and I had lunch and then pie for desert and we decided that while the meal was fine (I had the special which was sloppy joe but I don't recall what she had), that the pie was what was going to bring us back in the future. I stopped there yesterday and had a very good BLT for only three dollars but when I asked for coconut cream pie to go, I was too late, since they were all sold out. I'm writing about the Diner at Klings Mill in North Brookfield. You may be thinking, "But wait...that's a hardware/general store/gas station!?" You would be correct. But Klings Mill also houses a diner. It's not fancy, just a few booths and stools. But the food was good and cheap (I had Breakfast Special #3 which came with 2 eggs, toast, home fries, bacon, and sausage for $5.50). The people were nice even though we were the un-nice people who came in 5 minutes to close. If you know the area, I would rate the food above VJs, Quacks, and the Route 20 Diner. Good ole dive in the middle of the country....classic burgers and fries, onion rings were a hit with our crew too! Guess we need to try the pie next time. Maybe if we leave off the onion rings, we'll have room! read more

Basic good food, plenty of it and a unique atmosphere. The service is very friendly the coffee keeps coming and you can't beat the prices. If it's your first visit, the "cafe" is way in the back of the store. read more
