I stumbled on to this place by accident - my husband and I were trying to go to a different bar, and it was quite busy so we walked up the street and saw this wine bar. We wandered in - unfortunately to sit outside you have to have a reservation, but the inside was fine if a bit warm. We sat next to a window and didn't notice any issues.
They don't have a menu in English - but one very nice person who works there went through the whole menu with us, and when we were looking at wines he had us try a few before we settled on anything.
They mostly have what they call "tarte flambé", which is basically a flatbread. We had the 'classic' one, which is cheese, sausage, and red onion with their house sause. It was very good, and one was enough for both my husband and I. Also - we tried their house balsamic on it which was divine. We also had .5 L of a Riesling that we tried and was quite delightful for a hot summer night in Hamburg.
We spent awhile chatting with the worker (the one who walked us through the menu) and had an overall great time. The cost was reasonable (€22 for the flat bread and .5L of wine) and the atmosphere was great, and the people were amazing! They definitely make this place. Highly recommend. read more
