While I respect the doctor's medical expertise, my medication was clearly disclosed on the intake paperwork days before the visit. A properly managed front office should screen forms for absolute contraindications before booking an appointment and collecting non-refundable fees. To make matters worse, when I pointed out this administrative oversight and offered a reasonable 50% compromise ($150 refund) to account for the doctor's time, the office manager refused. They attempted to justify keeping the full fee by sending me a copy of a policy stating fees are non-refundable for "cancellations." I did not cancel; I fully attended the appointment. When I asked to escalate the issue to the surgeon to review , the practice completely ignored my emails. The medical care here may be fine, but they do not actively screen advance paperwork to protect patients from paying for impossible consultations, and they will misapply their own contracts to avoid issuing a refund. Double-check your own medical eligibility before giving this office any financial details.
