We live in Westchester and after much research on physicians I brought her to Dr. Goldberg for a free consultation on getting a tummy tuck. My wife has been exercising her entire life, she is basically an athlete. At 62 she looks at least ten years younger except for her midsection that had separated abdominal muscles and a "pouch" of skin caused by childbirth. Initially I was very impressed with his before and after gallery. Women in much worse shape had very impressive corrective reconstruction. Here's the rundown: My wife, and I couldn't be happier with Dr. Goldberg's work. He is truly an artist. In fact the results were better even then he anticipated. Her tummy tuck looks completely natural, like she never had children. Her tummy is flat and the local fat that surrounded her waist is gone. Not like a Dominican Republic special where they remove ribs to make you look like a caricature. ALL my wife's clothes fit her now, the clothes that she stopped wearing hiding in her closet... In fact shopping is a breeze. She has a brand new and cute bellybutton! For big jobs like this the Dr. works out of Dobbs Ferry- St Johns local hospital- 5 stars for the hospital as well. Surgery lasted five hours and she stayed overnight in a private room. The total cost of his services, anesthesiology and the hospital fees were very reasonable and the extra night there only cost an additional $500. Dr Goldberg's credentials are stellar and he has been working with this particular hospital for almost 20 years. The staff and nurses are very attentive. Other Dr's there also check in on you during your recovery. One nurse shared that she also works with the Dr. in his surgical suite out of his office on smaller procedures and that the Dr. takes his time during every procedure: he is a perfectionist and has safety redundancies at every step of the way. Even the meals at this hospital are of restaurant quality. Follow up visits are in his Scarsdale office right on Central Ave., with plenty of parking. His entire staff there is very accommodating, professional and pleasant. I would recommend Dr Goldberg to anyone.

I wanted a surgeon with a long history of results that spoke for themselves with years of reviews and 5 star ratings from real people. Dr. Alizadeh and his team are exactly that - professional, intelligent, and I have to believe are the best New York has to offer. I genuinely tell everyone I went to the best surgeon in the US. Samantha was so helpful answering all my questions pre-consultation and right after. She was warm and inviting, and made the decision feel easy. Janet at the front desk always greets me with a huge smile and an offer of support. I also immediately had a really strong connection with Jenn who is the medical assistant. I…read moreunderwent liposuction on my flanks and fat transfer to the breasts, spending over $14000 with the expectation--based on what the doctor told me--a flatter tummy and at least a half to full cup increase in breast size--which simply didn't happen. My belly fat is still there, my breast size looks the same. Despite being very lean (around 46kgs), I was still told I was an ideal candidate before this procedure. I now realize this was misleading. After the surgery when I raised my concerns about the dissatisfactory results, they now tell me that I didn't have enough fat. Why mislead me and perform the surgery in the first place? More troubling is that over a year later, I still experience soreness and numbness in my abdomen and flanks. I've raised my concerns with the doctor, only to be met with disrespect and dismissive responses. At one point, I was even told that if I wasn't satisfied, I should have performed the surgery on myself--an incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable comment from a medical professional. I truly regret trusting this clinic. In hindsight, I wish the doctor had taken a more honest, ethical approach and guided me toward non-surgical options more appropriate for my body type and goals. I'm sharing this review to help others make more informed decisions and to hopefully prevent anyone else from going through a similar experience. There was zero empathy, zero accountability, and no concern for my health or well-being. Stacey and Deborah are manipulators. This place only cares about money, not patients. I trusted the expertise of my breast surgeon and my oncologist implicitly. Having had a mastectomy, my breast surgeon gave me the names of a few plastic surgeons to interview. When I met Dr. Lloyd Gayle, I immediately knew that he was the one. His gregarious manner made me feel instantly at ease. He took his time to answer a myriad of my questions regarding delayed reconstruction options. His knowledge of procedures with pros and cons was not only comprehensive but also considerate of my age and place in life. I left that meeting knowing that Dr. Gayle was top on my list. I then reached out to other survivors and found a few of Dr. Gayle's patients who were not only thrilled with the aesthetics of their results but also felt that warm and fuzzy feeling that too many surgeons are missing. It is so paramount on the cancer journey to feel comfortable and understood by a compassionate doctor. Dr. Gayle exemplifies compassion AND expertise. I found out about his surgery expertise first hand when he performed my bilateral breast reconstruction with implants in 2007. He also did my nipple reconstruction at a later date.
