Last year his office merged with Dr Sessions bc Sessions is retiring so Dischinger office is twice as busy accommodating all of Sessions patients too-- it is impossible to get appt times before or after school, he has a 3rd orthodontist who sees many of his patients instead of him for check ups (which wasn't approved or discussed with me before this started happening), and he only uses "Spark" aligners bc he is paid by that company to push that product. There are also like 10 patient chairs in the 1 treatment area they have, practically on top of each other with no division between the chairs...so you have no privacy when you are getting treatment, and you hear everyone else's personal health information and treatments, which made me very uncomfortable. The docs hop from chair to chair and spend as little time as possible with patients, it's run like an assembly line. It's a shame bc I like the support staff that work there, but the office has gone really down hill in the last year since the merger.

After having all these procedures done I was left with a fear of going to the dentist. When realizing that I would need some major dental work in order to fix my teeth after damage done by some oral piercings I about lost my mind. Dr. Wendling came highly recommended to me from a friend and I am so glad I scheduled my first appointment. Everybody in the office is amazing and does everything they can to make your time in their office as enjoyable and not scary as possible. After a few visits with Dr. Wendling and her team I found myself becoming less and less nervous about heading in for my appointments. This is truly something I thought would never happen. Even after all of my major dental projects are completed I will continue to have my cleanings and any other routine procedures done by Dr. Wendling's office. Because I've been a patient of Dr. Wendling for nearly 15 years, and have been so exceedingly impressed with her skills and artistry, I've traveled from as far away as Montana - then Seattle - to see her. She's unique in that she's both obsessive about staying on top of the technological advancements in her craft, and simultaneously gifted with an artistic eye. Her work is meticulous. Her chair-side manner is fun and playful. Her staff is hyper organized, knowledgeable, compassionate and fun. My teeth are complimented about once a month. For real. We've taken 2 of our children to Dr. Drew Herion for braces. Both have had different situations - 1…read morewe were able to do teen Invisalign and the other needed traditional style braces and needed the expander prior to adhering braces. Both children received excellent and COMPETENT care and guidance. Dr. Drew always took the time to indulge the parent who "wants to know all the details and progress;" and though Dr. Drew has a thriving business, he always took the time to discuss, explain, etc. I felt he truly cares about his business as a whole and that includes in big part his patients and their families. Furthermore, the staff interaction between one another, patients and parents are easy, light and fun. There are many other little things that occur that make you feel valued and that your successful "teeth" outcome is also their success and their #1 goal. The front desk (and I believe she does a ton of other functions) - Jamie, is lovely. Always a warm and bright hello upon arrival and goodbye upon exiting and responds to call backs if you need to leave a message. Overall we enjoyed our time with the team at Meridian Park Orthodontics. The child who received teen Invisalign ended with a great smile and transitioned to retainers with no issues. The continued follow up once retainers begin is also amazing. My other child won't finish out his braces experience with Dr Drew only because we moved out of state, but the team has been very open and communicative to make sure that progress and success is achieved with our new orthodontist. That's pretty amazing and what a commitment. They aren't just - "see ya" but really are invested in the patients progress until the goal is achieved. Had we stayed in the area, we would've 100% stayed with Dr. Drew and for sure would have sent our last child to see him if/when it was their time to get braces.
