Mais lorsqu'on se laisse aller aux émotions , même pour célébrer , notre perte de contrôle  peut être associée au gain de poids. Et c'est justement ce bilan  qui a été ma lanterne quand j'ai rencontré  la nutritionniste Talin Gurunian. Dans son bureau à Laval, j'ai rencontré une petite femme souriante au regard pénétrant qui m'a accueillie comme un membre de sa famille. Évidemment, mon surpoids me gênait , sans parler du pèse personne, mais son approche m'a rassurée. Son entrevue s'intéressait de plus près à mon comportement alimentaire et au rôle joué par mes émotions. C'est à se demander si je suis chez une psychologue! En réalité, lorsque la nourriture vient combler autre chose que la faim, elle devient trop facilement la source des kilos en trop. Elle même est le produit de ses recherches et études. Son approche est multidimensionnelle et la panoplie de services qu'elle offre est adaptée au profil de son client qu'elle analyse avec une bienveillance singulière. Pas tous les corps sont pareils et les problèmes de santé varient. Elle est une fraîche encyclopédie de nutrition et suppléments vitaminiques qu'elle partage généreusement avec son patient , pour ne pas dire client, car son but premier n'est pas de vendre des pilules miracle mais de rétablir , équilibrer , encourager , activer la perte de poids. Le prix? Tout a un prix:celui de votre engagement à votre corps. Quant à moi, j'ai commencé avec une détoxification de mon système digestif , encrouté depuis des années de négligence et de  découragement, puis une fois énergisée par cette cure, elle a mesuré tous les dépôts de graisse sur le contour de mon corps, elle m'a prescrit un menu encore plus appétissant que celui d'ordinaire et quelques semaines plus tard, elle me proposait sa machine trilipo qui délogeait les dépôts tenaces de gras  , par exemple , le replis de mon bas ventre ou les ailerons de mon dos. Douloureux? Je dirais que ce n'est pas de tout repos , mais Talin ne manque pas de sujets divertissants pour détourner l'inconfort des graisses qui fondent sous le frottement de cet outil technologique. Résultats? Impressionnants! Raffermissement de la peau ,réduction mesurable de la graisse localisée, amélioration et tonification des muscles. Fruit d'un abonnement annuel au gym! Ce n'est pas une solution miracle car il faut modifier son comportement, mais Talin accompagne son patient comme s'il était le seul au monde. En définitive , je souhaitais être libre mais pas seule dans ma démarche de mise en forme. J'ai trouvé mon alliée!

My particular issue once menopause hit was no longer being able to sleep well. The progesterone cream I was prescribed is made from sweet potatoes which my research as well as my pharmacist and my regular gynecologist said made them safe. And not only that, they all agreed with the Westmount Wellness Center's gynecologist...they were 'cancer protective', especially in women who carry extra weight (therefore produce extra estrogen). This is contrary to chemical progesterone. I am probably the only woman among all my friends who sleeps soundly and wakes up refreshed and it's thanks to the Westmount Wellness Center's recommendation to take bio-identical progesterone cream.

They never changed my dosage and after all the saliva testing BS I was told by Mireille that she can NOT increase the dose. I switched to Estrogel and I swear the next morning I had no more sweating after my coffee and after 5 months I still feel great and could shoot myself for not reacting sooner. I wish it was easier to find the office but thankfully I found it just took me a little longer to get to it so plan accordingly if you think of booking your appointment at this location. *Location*: It's actually located in Gallery Kirkland on Blvd., Saint Charles and to be honest with you it was a pretty hard time finding the building as it's in a large building on the 2nd floor with numerous other business'. *Cleanliness* The locale was simple and clean and very small too nothing to add about the cleanliness... as it's not that hard to clean a tiny space lol. *Service*: It was all right I mean the lady at the reception was doing her job by giving me a form to fill out since it was my first time and had to open an account. She wasn't very talkative and just assigned me things to do before I got to see Mrs Liu Mrs Liu was very sweet and friendly she took great care of me but I don't really think she's as experienced as other people who specialize in acupuncture. She did her best with what she knew and treated the pain directly where it was bothering me. Unfortunately, the pain still remained..it wasn't all her fault because she really really made sure she did her best and tried very hard to relieve my pain. I would suggest to her that she gains a little bit more experience over time. She was a great overall .. Im use to seeing a different guy but he wasn't available the day I tried her. *Cost*: 85$ the first acupuncture session and then 70$ for next visits *Wait Times*: They honoured my appointment and was pretty happy about that !! No wait time at all *Parking*: lots of free parking as it's in a stript mall *Overall Star Rating*: around 3.5 - 4 stars shes very attentive and caring she really cares about you as a patient just lacks a bit experience but I'd recommend her to anyone she's good with basic acupuncture just not with customers who have extreme pain .. cheers
