Her holistic approach reassured me and I was ready to do everything she would ask me and I did. I have received all acupuncture treatments by one of her team member, Jun (Alain) Hu for which I also have a lot of respect. And the results: a wonderful baby boy! After almost 5 years of fertility treatments our dream finally came true and we are convinced that Dr Zhang and her team contributed significantly to this great success! Sincerely, Nadine

Went here for an emergency osteo appointment for an acute joint injury since my usual osteopath at…read moreanother clinic was unavailable. The practitioner who treated me was disappointing on many levels. He did not do a proper assessment of the situation, rather he immediately jumped to the conclusion that my acute injury whuch occurred over the weekend was the result of poor workplace ergonomics based simply on the fact that I have a desk job and don't have a standing desk. Never mind that I adjusted my desk with a consultation by a professional ergotherapist - I spent 90 min here being preached to about the virtues of standing desks (even though I have a foot problem and have been advised not to use one), with no real treatment of my acute issue itself other than squeezing the limb for several minutes so it would "relax". The next day in addition to the joint issue, now the surrounding muscles are inflamed and sore. I do want to point out that I understand the modality of osteopathy and the fact that sometimes a subtle event can be the straw that breaks the camel's back. However that's not a license for lazy diagnosis. This particular practitioner was a poor listener and pushy and I did not feel like he was listening or trying to properly understand the situation. What he described did not match the pattern of onset of my pain or symptoms. There is something more acute going on and now I am going elsewhere to get an x-ray and a proper diagnosis. I will finally add that the practitioner kept touching and moving his mask during the treatment then putting his bare hands on my neck and shoulders without sanitizing them. This clinic needs better hiring and training processes.

Dr Smoley is the classic Dermatologist.. he knows his stuff! He's awesome and definitely worth it!…read moreWe came here after our doctors referral and we were not disappointed. His office is located in a high rise commercial building off of st jean's pointe clair. His office is a little outdated small but his skills are far greater than any place we've been to. He is great and definitely treated my husband like a real patient with a lot of attention and care. He got rid of something that bothered my husband a lot in just a few minutes. It was literally a 5 min procedure and off we went. No pain no severe complications and just a huge smile on my behalf after the final outcome. Overall, I definitely recommend Dr Smoley he's great and a total Gem in the west island!

I was dealing with serious medical complications stemming from endometriosis and an emergency hysterectomy when I met her and it was necessary for me to weed out the true Ayurvedic medical doctor from the ones who are more spa oriented. I interviewed many Ayurvedic doctors/practitioners before deciding to work with Bita and I am confident that I made the right choice. I am now free of symptoms and feel fantastic. Bita is a warm, caring person with the knowledge and intellect to truly understand the interconnectedness of the human body, mind and spirit in a way that brings true healing to her clients.

Plus hubs loves TCM because it takes a holistic approach. So, while in Montréal during Christmas '24, hubs was feeling out of sorts and something brought on a nasty, hacking cough that he couldn't control. Because of his love for TCM, hubs Googled one and Vanshow H. in Chinatown also came up winning on Yelp. The sitting area is simple, has a small waiting area up front and a self-serve tea brewing kettle at no cost for those who are waiting- which came in handy while I waited for hubs. Vanshow offers intriguing full-leaf herbs, small-batch+handcrafted blends, dietary products and ointments. When all was said and done, hubs was given herbs to wipe out the nasty cough and strengthen his entire system. Even though we cut our Montréal vacation short so hubs can prep his tea ASAP at home, his visit here was tremendously helpful. Once home and the days wore on, Vanshow's herbal Mulberry blend was exceptionally beneficial in taking care of hubs' cough. These folks have a reputation and it shows- plus they provided excellent quality all around.

I try to avoid pills and prefer taking a holistic route if I can. I've responded well to acupuncture in the past for things like allergies so I figured I'd give it a shot again. After doing my research, it looks like Dr. Lam is considered one of the best acupuncture doctors in Montreal and I can definitely attest to his abilities. After 2 visits, I started sleeping like a baby again and waking up from a refreshing sleep. Steps away from Monk metro station, and at $50 a visit (which is pretty low by acupuncture standards), in a humble looking building and with very clean consultation areas, I have no hesitation recommending Clinique D'acupuncture Chinois de Ville Emard. Ps. Dr. Lam is also a naturopath

I wanted so badly to like this place. Sadly I did not have a good experience. I have tried…read moreacupuncture and loved the experience. After reading the review I decided to give this place a try. My first appointment left a lot to be desired. The appointment was rushed, impersonal and was more painful than I had experienced in the past. I received no explanation about what they were doing and why. I was left next to patients only separated by a hospital sheet, hearing their conversations which made it very hard to relax. I was told to return that very week. When I returned, again I was treated like a number, rushed in and rushed out. That time it hurt, a lot! I am tolerant to pain but when I told him he just kept saying "big mosquito" instead of replacing the needle! The receptionist asked me to return again in the same week. Finally I explained that it was too much and I only have so much insurance. She gave me a dirty look and said fine. She then proceeded to add me to the next week! I will never return to this place. Customer service and environment was very poor to say the least!

My colleague told me about Nancy and when I saw her the first time, I had chronic stomach problems and I found that her treatment helped me a lot after the first session, so I started seeing Nancy for acupuncture treatment every week after and it has helped relieved my stomach issues tremendously. It's been 3 months now, and I see every 2 weeks because I found that her treatment for my general energy level was also helpful. I like that Nancy combines different treatment methods (acupuncture /guasha/cupping) when required because I did feel like a huge weight was lifted off my back (so to speak). I do recommend booking in advance and I like that I can check her availability on her website. Nancy is definitely highly recommended for her effective treatment methods.
