New River Child Care/Learning Center

It was founded by the same family that owned the Tutor Time Fort Lauderdale establishment, keeping the same high standards, efficient procedures, and good practices of the former Tutor Time childcare. The only difference is that this facility is so much better than the previous one! Security-wise I cannot ask for better, the building is brand new, all the toys and materials are new, the quality of the infrastructure is awesome, the eye-catching colors are perfect for a place devoted to kids, and the quality in general is the best. My daughter has been attending here since she was ten months old, and we are very happy we found this place. She has learned so much and made so many friends -even I've made friends with other parents too! My little one loves this place because she feels loved and spends great time in here. Teachers are amazing: positive, dedicated and caring. Detailed reports are given daily, and if anything out of the ordinary happens, they make sure that you get informed. The front office is extremely organized, and driven professionally in a friendly environment. The owners are awesome. They possess great managerial skills, caring to provide training to the staff, and rewarding them on various occasions. This is a very important key to have everyone motivated. Also they treat you like part of the family, greeting everybody by their first name, always with a smile, and going out of their way to personally known you and your child. On a negative note... there is no negative note!! We highly recommend this school to other parents. I wish I had another child so they can both go together to school :-)

Great experience - preK student learning quickly. They were just treated as objects and not kids. Ever since my kids were transitioned out of their old school to The Kids Learning Academy, my kids have accelerated greatly. The staff is very nice and attentive towards all of the kids. I have one in VPK and another in Daycare. I am very happy with my kids performance at school and at home. I feel they are learning so much more. My kids have opened their minds up and are blossoming. I would have to say that Ms. Beth runs a very tight ship. She is always looking out for the better interest for the kids to learn and be well taken care of. I highly recommend this school for parents looking for a school in the Fort Lauderdale area. Thank you for all of your great work.

We had the most horrible experience at this daycare center. My daughter was in Ms. Mercedes…read moreclassroom and due to some incidents too long to describe, I noticed that something was off. I asked to see the cameras and we saw Mercedes being violent and rough with my daughter. She hit her head because she could not control her temper (the caregiver, not the child!). My daughter was 2 years old at the time. The director, which tends to be rude but chose to be more diplomatic considering the obvious, agreed that the caregiver lost her temper and that it was wrong. However, refused to move the teacher from my daughter´s classroom. She said we would have to move my daughter to a different level instead. Needless to say, my daughter did not come back to that school. We even filed a police report that indicated that the caregiver must practice better patience with children. You would expect that from a teacher of 2 year old children! The caregiver was a few weeks without pay but then went back to work. Regardless if she is still there or not, I would advise all parents to stay away from this center. They allowed this behavior to happen. This person should have been fired. Please do your research and put your kids in a facility where the caregivers genuinely care about your children. My daughter had an emotional impact from her experience in this place. To top it off, they tried to put it on my daughter saying that she used to cry all the time. What a lame justification of wrong adult actions. Stay away from this place! I have to give star but I would give them -0
