And always the run around about the final paperwork well after they get paid...I sat with them and made arrangements on a Monday with policy in hand they were paid by the end of the week from the insurance 4 days PRIOR to my Love one being place into the ground. It's a month later and I have yet to receive a death certificate or a grave and plot number as I've requested on numerous occasion. I called them over 10's in the past week with ONE UNRESOLVED return call. As I sit here and think about it AGAIN I have yet to receive the death certificate from the previous deaths each time I had to spend EXTRA MONEY out of my pocket, go through the hassle to get the death certificates on my own... WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OF PRE PAYING WITH SERVICES IF I NEVER RECEIVED IT...Also to TOP IT OFF...They ANNISTON FUNERL SERVICES place a Headstone on MY Mom's grave with a INCORRECT DATE OF BIRTH and again to this day 17 YEARS LATERS IT'S STILL INCORRECT....

A storm had blown a large limb off of an old tree and destroyed an awning that had been shading my…read moreGrandparent's graves since 1992...The awning took out my Grandfather's Headstone....I tried to lift it back up with no success! I called Miller's and they said they would send someone out and see if they could lift it back in place; I told them great! Let me know what I owed! They sent me a picture of the uprighted stone and told me no charge! It's nice to know that there are still nice people out there! That was an excellent example of Customer Service!!! Thanks! John C. When we had my…read moredad's funeral recently, we uploaded over 100 photos.. as she asked...and she played the same eight photos at the viewing and refused to upload more photos. She was very unprofessional and rude to say the least. My brother was trying to say his last goodbyes before the casket closed and she kept coming over rushing him. That was another very unprofessional thing to do. And then at the end, she told everyone that we were dismissed like we were in school... I mean this Funeral Home does several funerals a week. You would think that they have better things to say... on top of all this unprofessionalism they keep people from jobs if they know you.. so again I do not recommend this to anyone. If I had it to do all over again I definitely would not have buried my dad there. It was very rushed. And they buried him in three days for less than $3000 because of him, knowing someone who worked there.! if I could give them less than a one star rating I definitely would.
