KKOH continues with ABC news broadcasts. They're blatantly biased against our President. They're amateurish, and just plain pathetic. It's a shame what the "America in the Morning" early morning show has turned into. Jim Bohannon was the longtime host/veteran and was so professional. He would be so disappointed. Other than the facts, it's the radio station. Goes dead several times it happens to me. I turn it on and it's completely dead. Air so I listen to 810 in San Francisco and keep going back trying to get 780AMKKOH to work and then it'll come back on. I don't know why but it has been doing this. The last several months on and off throughout the day. And evening, especially. Staying on 99.1 FM for unbias national news and more interesting shows. Guy Benson, Jimmy Failla, while only national and east coast, much more entertaining. I listen to KOH off of my Alexa device, but it seems that whenever the ABC news comes on, it's way lower in volume than what was on previously. Also, at times, late evening, there is 90 seconds of silence before the ABC news feed comes on. Can they fix that? read more

I agree wholeheartedly with Beth C. The quality of the broadcasts- in particular, Greg Neft, has declined since his arrival. I have emailed complaints to the station and if that has influenced the change in leadership, I am very happy. It is a relief to have Ryan Nutter filling the afternoon slot and to see the Greg is not listed as part of the crew. read more

The new people (Greg Neft especially) on the station aren't from here, and can't speak to local topics, local events, local places, or anything Northern Nevada specific. As far as delivering local news, traffic and weather, they're fine. Unfortunately in the morning you've got to listen to the two bozo hosts who couldn't get farther up Trump's ass if they tried. I only listen to KKOH for about 30 minutes in the morning while getting ready for work as I have 0 interest in Rush, Hannity, Shapiro and whatever right wing tool they broadcast. read more

I am a long time listener. I loved Bill Manders and Ross & Monica J. Really liked Dan Masson most of the time. But upon their departures the station started falling. It's less conservative and less Reno'ish after out-of-state influences have grown. You can still find Hannity, Lavin, and Bongino, and Ross is still good. Disappointing. read more

Aside from what one may think of the jib-jabbering, the thing I was most impressed with is the fact that this actually has a 24-hour newsroom with traffic reports at the top of every hour, every day. This is pretty impressive for a city the size of Reno. As someone who works in the radio industry in Boise, I can tell you that the news/talk stations there have a newsroom, but they are only in operation sometime between 5 AM to 7 PM Monday through Friday, which means if something serious goes down locally outside of those hours, no one is there to talk about it. The fact that a REAL human being is giving the news rather than an automatron or some hack from another city makes this a station of choice. EVERY city should have a radio station with a 24-hour newsroom in operation. Live human beings giving the news should not be restricted to the big markets like New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, etc. Way to go, KKOH. read more

I really dislike this station, aside from Micheal Savage, who I used to listen to in California on Kste/Ksfo. For the most part, from 5am- 9am, Deep Throat and his side kick BORE the hell out of me! They talk about ABSOLUTELY nothing, uninteresting topics and stale/lame jokes can make for a very UNBEARABLE day! I tune out,! The only reason I give this station Two stars is because of the "Micheal Savage" show! BTW: very BIASED station, when it comes to the Donald vs. Hilary!! read more

I truly enjoy listening to this station when I'm in the car. I like most of the lineup, such as Dan Mason, Sean Hannity, etc. Also I am a huge Mark Levin fan. read more

I've grown to hate this station. Not for its programs, but for its advertisements. They run the most obnoxious ads imaginable, over and over. It's made listening unbearable, and so I will no longer listen. read more
