Tracy is wonderful! She was an absolute life saver for me this past Christmas. About 3 weeks before I was to go overseas for the holidays, I started looking for a cat sitter - big mistake!!!! Cat sitters in this area are fully booked for the holidays as early as October! If you are like me, and sitting at your computer thinking, "goddess help me find a good sitter for my fur kids", look no further, Kitty Corner is the real deal. I am a RVT (Registered Veterinary Technician), three years ago I married a cat daddy, and we combined our two multi-cat house holds. My husband and I's fur kids are just that, our kids. It's like the fur kid brady-bunch over here though, and it comes with a set of challenges. Two of our kitties are elderly and have to have meds. One has emotional issues, is half blind, and takes meds and aromatherapy. Some irritate each other from time to time and of course there are a few litter boxes to deal with. So, you can imagine, it takes an experienced and patient sitter to care for them, Tracy is both of those things. Recently, we went away for our anniversary and our hyperthyroid old girl contracted a URI (the kitty sniffles that can get serious if left untreated), Tracy had no problem giving her antibiotic eye ointment and immune meds. I was a little nervous leaving my cats alone for longer than a couple of days with a new sitter, especially because one of them was more cautious and shy. When Tracy arrived to meet the kitties, she respected their territory and allowed them to investigate her. She let me know she was experienced with under-socialized cats which eased my mind a bit. While I talked about the cats and showed her how to feed them, etc, she took notes so I felt more comfortable knowing she wouldn't forget or miss anything. I'm sure a lot of pet parents are nervous leaving their animals behind but Tracy seemed to really take the stress out of the process. During the week, she left daily email updates with plenty of photos that I looked forward to throughout my trip. The emails were descriptive and even noted any abnormalities or concerns she had during her visits.
