Their selection of shovels, pails, floating boats and other toys for the beach is extensive. Really like the variety and the brands that use safe materials. Better yet, the store is well-organized and the prices are extremely reasonable, especially considering the prime location (not to mention the exorbitant rent!) My son left with a Melissa & Doug airport truck, luggage carrier, and airplane, a Blue Angels replica plane, a die-cast metal airplane, and a few plastic beach toys. The biggest selections are paperback collections/graphic novels and back issues. However, they had an ample supply of $1 comics and new issues along the walls. I really enjoyed showing my son how to flip through boxes of back issues to look for stuff. The downside was that there were more than a few comics with no marked prices (and took a lot of time to find the prices) and the staff, while friendly, didn't seem to know much about comics. I asked about some DC comics and characters and they simply didn't know the answers. I feel if you run a comic, you should have employees who can answer questions. Overall a really nice experience. Again, the staff was friendly and the back issue and graphic novel selection in particular was fantastic.

This year we wanted to take a piece of Maryland back home with us and saw that Kite Loft had these exceptional hot air balloon replicas of the Maryland flag. We actually saw this decoration in multiple places, but Kite loft was $5 less and they always have coupons available. Great products, always great staff and just a great experience at Kite Loft.
