STAY AWAY! What a joke of a 'contractor', does not know how to install tile, unprofessional attitude, everything he did is crooked, at different depths and have spaces in between which will allow water to seep back behind them, all because he has no idea how to tile or grout, (his female employee does, but she is not working for him any longer and honestly I can't blame her, she was sweet and nice and she installed our kitchen back splash nicely, NOT Tony. His younger male employee was also sweet and the owner treated them like crap yelling at them and cursing when HE made mistakes). He damaged our freshly painted walls, caused not one, but two leaks, drilled through a pipe installing green board in shower!! Wouldn't a contractor know to check for pipes before randomly drilling? I am certainly no contractor, but even I know to use a stud finder before nailing or drilling into a wall! Then he damaged our carpet and walls, because when installing a sink, he didn't bother to add a needed pipe extender to ensure it fit properly, he just yanked the pipe and forced it into place, (we had to hire someone else to fix his mess). He takes no responsibility for his actions, not even an offer to clean the damaged carpet. Here had the audacity to ask if 'the leak was already there?' What?! You just installed the sink, how could the leak have been there already?! He broke too many tiles to count when cutting them and then installed them broken because he does not know how to cut or install glass tiles. We have two other contractors which put, in writing, how atrocious his work is! We have to have the job completely redone and buy all new materials because he has NO idea what he is doing! Read the negative reviews, they are all very similar to our experience, we sadly believed the positive posts which always seem to mysteriously appear as soon as he has a negative one posted, in his ridiculous attempt to push down the bad reviews! Check the BBB, he is a disaster! He commented to us (on recording) that he 'doesn't understand why we would spend so much money on materials for our beach house', then when he damages all those same materials, he claims it was because they were 'cheap'?!?! You ever hear of a contractor with the balls to tell you how to spend your money?! We want our ocean front home to look nice, we now realize he made these comments in a pathetic attempt to cover up his crap job, we paid good money for materials and services and in turn received crap! For the record Tony, glass tile is not cheap, as certainly anyone who ever purchased tile, even a non-contractor, knows! He shows photos on his website of 'jobs he has done' they show waterfalls installed in showers, as well as shower nooks and tile jobs done in glass, yet he was incapable of doing same in our home, so we believe those reviews and photos to be fakes or someone else's work. Our shower nook is so crooked and slanted that anything put on the shelf falls off immediately! He 'patched' holes he made in the dry wall installing a towel rack at ceiling height, honestly my children could do a better patch job with a tube of toothpaste and a paint brush!! We were scammed because we didn't do our due diligence, we wanted the work done before summer and went with him because he swore up and down he could produce before summer began. We are hoping to save others from the same disaster, don't do what we did, wait for a real contractor, the good ones may be booked up but there is a reason for that, wait for them, you will be much happier than we are now, having to redo and repurchase everything as we had to fire him before he did further damage. Look at the photos, they show you more than I could write. What professional installs tile so horrific, installs light, mirror and towel bars basically on the ceiling instead of in a usable position? When asked to correct things he told us 'it wasn't his fault' nothing is his fault, it's the clients fault, the materials fault, the WALLS fault everyone and everything but him, the 'contractor'. My dishwasher that I inherited with my new home broke on me. As I was investigating ways to repair it, I unfortunately discovered that they did not level the floor underneath the dishwasher. So it was essentially tiled in and impossible to take out. I contacted numerous companies that had no interest in helping me. Their most consistent advice was to completely remodel my kitchen and then level the floor which I was not going to do. Fortunately for us, Tony at Kitchen Wizard handled everything for us! Tony delicately removed the tile around the old dishwasher, and safely removed the broken dishwasher. After this, he discovered problems with the electric and plumbing, and promptly fixed both. Finally, he leveled the floor (so I never have to go through this nightmare again!), put the tile back in that he removed, and installed my new dishwasher. Throughout the entire process, Tony was personable, excellent at communication, and extremely quick and efficient with the job. He also gave a very competitive rate for the job. Most importantly, he did not skip any steps along the way, and I feel great knowing that the job was done the right way. If you are looking for a company that can handle challenging projects, doesn't skip steps, takes pride in their work, and is a one stop shop for all your needs, I cannot recommend Kitchen Wizard enough. Absolutely horrible work, you will have a nightmare on your hands with this guy. Tile floors popping all over, horrible paint job, crown is bad, cabinets are junk and falling apart before the job was done. I got a quote from Tony and he was supposed to start the job a week later. he canceled last minute and told me he is swamped with work and he can definitely do it in 4 weeks. Being that he provided me with a good price and reading his good reviews, I decided to wait. After 4 weeks he was supposed to send a contract over the weekend and start the work on Monday. I took 2 days off from work and my tenant did too, as Tony mentioned that it would take 2 days to complete. He canceled over the weekend but promised to get to it the following week. After canceling yet again I decided to drop him. 2 months of waiting and 3 last minute cancellations was enough. Highly unreliable. read more

On 1/17/2015, I contracted Tony Skulitz of Kitchen Wizard and More LLC to renovate the kitchen and bathroom on my 2 family house and as of June 18, 2015 the work is 15% completion. Every time I contact Tony on status, its a bunch of excuses, truck broke down, sick this week, then his wife is sick the following week, took his son to see 2 attorneys, etc. Contract was for demo and replace sheet rock on walls & ceiling, he put new sheet rock over my existing sheet rock. When I asked him, he said that is dumb, he swore he removed the old sheet rock until I text him the photos I took. Then he said I didn't know you wanted the old sheet rock removed. Even before finishing up the drywall, he started laying down tiles in the kitchen. He also did a Horrible job on the tile install in a diagonal layout, had alignment, lip-age issues and left the floor with these 1 inch triangle tiles around the perimeter. I was so furious so he text me to mark the tiles and he will fix. Here I was over Memorial Day weekend, marking the tiles he goofed, later he even marked the tiles himself then all the tiles had to be taken out. Additionally, Tony charged me separately $400 each when I asked for duct work for vented kitchen. I asked what material and how he would install. Tony said he would use the flex pipe, that's what he used in all the other kitchens that required vented fans. I told him no flex pipe, its prone to tear, its also a fire hazard and not allowed as it voids the manufactures warranty on the fan. Tony then asked me what pipe should be used instead???. In horror I thought to myself, he will cause my house to go on fire, I asked for a refund as I dont want the vented fan anymore. He didn't even issue after 2 weeks. tony skulitz, owner of kitchen wizard and more, gutted my master bathroom for renovations. He put new waterproof sheetrock up, built a large tiled shower where there used to be a bathtub, new toilet and vanity, and tiled the floor and the walls to match the new shower area. He did a wonderful job and we loved his work so much that we also hired him to put hardwood floors throughout the entire house.
