He had the pump stocked on his truck and installed it in under a half hour! He also got the replacement ice maker on order and I'm looking forward to him returning to install it. Nick was professional, courteous and quite friendly. Thanks ARE and especially Nick! With four people in our home, a downed washer would be a nightmare, only sweet dreams for us tonight

I called a technician to repair my GE front-load washer and asked for an estimated repair cost…read morebefore scheduling the visit. I was told it would likely be around $150-$200. However, when the technician arrived at my house, they quoted $550 for the exact same issue I had already described over the phone. If I had been told upfront that the repair could cost this much, I would not have scheduled the appointment. Because I declined the repair, they still charged me a $100 inspection fee. This experience was very disappointing due to the lack of transparency about the pricing. Clear and honest estimates should be provided before sending a technician so customers can make an informed decision. For your information, I did called GE before calling these tech, the extended warranty is $350 to cover everything. My GE washer is front load purchased by 2022.

Highly Recommend Amil - Preventative Appliance Repair…read more On October 7th around noon, I contacted Amil regarding an issue with the bottom freezer of my GE refrigerator. I had been getting significant ice buildup along the bottom and wasn't sure what was causing it. As I've experienced with Amil before, his professionalism was outstanding. He offered to come the following day or fit me into his schedule later that same afternoon. He arrived at approximately 3:30 PM, right on time. One small detail immediately reminded me why Amil stands apart from many other companies. As soon as he entered my home, he removed his shoes. I even told him I have tile and that he was perfectly fine leaving them on, but he still took them off. That may seem minor, but it says a lot about someone who respects your home and treats it as if it were his own. He went directly to the refrigerator, inspected the freezer, and quickly got to work. He discovered a loose screw and a slight gap that was allowing outside air into the freezer, which appeared to be contributing to the ice buildup. What impressed me most was his honesty. I know very little about refrigerator repair, and he could have easily turned a simple issue into an expensive repair. He didn't. He explained what he found and was extremely fair about the cost. For comparison, GE wanted approximately $114 just to come to my home, before any parts, labor, or repairs were included. Amil took the time to actually diagnose the issue first instead of immediately looking for a way to charge me more. I also asked what other appliances he services, and he works on a wide range of household appliances, including refrigerators, microwaves, washers, dryers, dishwashers, garbage disposals, and other kitchen appliances. I had actually forgotten that I had used Amil's services previously, but after today's experience, I was reminded exactly why I called him before. Professional, punctual, knowledgeable, respectful, honest, and fair with his pricing. Those qualities are becoming harder to find. I would absolutely recommend Amil with Preventative Appliance Repair to my friends, family, or anyone looking for someone trustworthy to work on their appliances. Thank you again, Amil. I genuinely appreciate you coming out and helping me.

I am thrilled with Apex's integrity…read more I explained the issue with my microwave. They asked for the model number. When I gave it to them, they told me the 2005 model was too old and they can no longer get the parts. They suggested I get a new one instead of paying for a service call when they would not be able to fix it. I then asked if they would install if I bought a new one. They would, but again suggested a less expensive alternative. Lowe's and Home Depot's purchases often include free or lower priced installation. They didn't get any business from me this time. I am beyond frustrated with the service--or lack thereof--provided by this company. My dishwasher…read morehas been out of commission for 2.5 weeks, and after multiple visits and hundreds of dollars, it is still not working. The entire experience was a disaster from the start. The technician failed to show up on time for the initial appointment. When he finally arrived and performed the "repair," he actually managed to break the drain line. This required a follow-up visit, which only added to the downtime and my growing frustration. To make matters worse, after paying $275 for what I thought was a completed fix, I realized the unit still wasn't functioning. When I reached out to the company to resolve this, I was told it would cost an **additional $275** on top of what I had already paid. When I questioned this, the administration was incredibly unprofessional. The admin became rude and dismissive, claiming they were giving me a "40% discount"--which felt like a slap in the face given the machine was never fixed to begin with. They even had the audacity to tell me it was "my fault" for not checking the technician's work more thoroughly while he was there. It is not the customer's job to perform quality control on a professional repair. Now, I am back at square one, out $275, and having to figure out a new issue caused by their incompetence. I strongly advise staying away from this company. Save your money and your sanity; go with someone who is punctual, skilled, and actually values their customers. **Will not recommend.** Update. Now 4/19 the dishwasher is completely stuck in heavy cycle and not starting at all. You can say all you want about your "professional repair", but at this point it's easier to get a new dishwasher than keep paying for every part to be replaced at extra cost. The technician had to comeback several times over 2.5 weeks and it's still broken. I reached out to your technician initially to request additional repair but asked for another person since the first guy who fixed my fridge awhile back did a great job. I started receiving messages from another person who never introduced himself and was extremely unprofessional, texting me rude messages and at this point I don't feel safe using you at all.
