I'm glad we did because we had a lot of fun at the West Bay Casino! Please note that this review is for the casino only. We did not stay at the resort (yet!). Yes, the casino is small. Especially compared to Winstar or Choctaw. But we actually enjoyed a change of pace and different atmosphere than the mega casinos. All of the staff we interacted with were very friendly. The casino, restrooms, and beverage area were CLEAN! There were also a few slot machines that you can't find at the other big casinos. And while smoking is allowed, it was not overwhelming like at other casinos. We only had a short amount of time to spend at the West Bay Casino, but one day we will book a room or maybe one of the cabins which looked really nice and spend a weekend here. The pool and outdoor patio area looked very nice as well and the view of Lake Texoma is great. Don't pass up this little hidden gem!

I was playing minimum bets of .50 - .75 and hit THREE jackpots on different machines ranging fom $55 to $247 and quit while I was ahead and walked out with $450 more than I went in with. It still seems unreal considering how badly I loose visit after visit at Choctaw casino. Thank You West Bay! I live in Durant and you have definatey earned my business.

My spa treatment was amazing and was so excited to learn that the day of your treatment. You can come back and use their hot tub and sauna. All day, and it's included in your spa package. I ended up getting the awakened body exfoliation, and initially, I wanted a massage. But this was such a happy accident. Because you get a massage and a scrub, and it was amazing.I have to admit I fell asleep a couple times. Later that evening, we came to eat, and I am so glad I made a reservation, because I heard multiple people try to drop by on a Saturday night and get turned away because of how busy they were. And I have to say, I enjoyed it thoroughly. Luke was our waiter and he made sure that we were well taken care of. I also appreciate that they kept the bread coming, which was warm and so yummy. My favorites were the ficasha and the dinner rolls. We were hungry. So we jumped right in to the main course. I had the seabass, and shared the a la carte mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Everything was tasty. Then, Luke took my celebration to the next level. By not treating me too 1 dessert but two desserts because of my party size. We got the coconut key lime pie and the cheesecake. They were both delicious, but my favorite was the key lime pie. When I come back to Choctaw, for a special occasion, I will be coming to the steakhouse again.

To my delight, the rates for the room are still the same as they were in 2019 -- $99. Total. No taxes. No Resort Fees. Ninety-nine bucks. The room is super clean and well appointed, but if you're looking for square footage, this ain't it. If you've ever traveled through Japan or Europe, you'll be plenty comfortable. If you're a "looks for reasons to complain" type tourist, this room will be far, far too small for your liking, and you'll spend your stay on the phone to the front desk demanding a structural remodel so you can engage in whatever lascivious activity it is that needs all that real estate. The IHOP express is serviceable and reasonably priced. For a one-night stay, it's tolerable. If I were staying any longer than that, I would get mighty tired of its offerings mighty quickly. The casino has a lovely little bar in it with reasonably priced drinks ($4 beers ~$7 shots). It seems to have a lot of locals who use it as their main sports viewing location. Gets pretty smoky in there, so if you're sensitive to that, this ain't your place. The casino is strictly class II bingo slot machines and a couple table games. Given the choice, I only play video poker, of which there is none in this place. So, I took up a little money and decided that I'd play around on the slots. Much to my surprise, betting as little as I could possibly get away with, I hit a nice all-wilds pay on one machine and two mini bonuses on another. While that was nice, I still wouldn't recommend class II bingo machines for the long haul. Like at all. Then I sauntered over to the Jackpot Hold 'Em table. With a two dollar minimum, I was able to play for a good long while without too much concern as to whether I won or lost. I think I put in about two or three hours and came out exactly three dollars ahead. The frustrating part about that (not Treasure Valley's fault) is the ante you have to pay in Oklahoma. I figure that had I not been forced to pay that, I would've been up closer to $75 than $3. Consider this in ANY table game endeavors in Oklahoma. Contrary to my long-standing beliefs on the impossibilities of winning at class II and Oklahoma table games, I paid for my room and my bar tab via gambling on this trip. Overall, so long as you keep your expectations realistic, I think this is a nice little getaway spot that offers reasonable accommodations for a reasonable price. The employees were super friendly across the board, the locals were quick to share a joke or offer advice on how to play a given game, and they seemed more excited for me than I was any time I hit something that paid me.
