The parents, players, and I all agree that Black Cat art studio was the way to go. Jodi, the owner, was extremely accommodating. We had 18 girls painting that evening. They had the best time! She taught them a really cool paint pouring technique. She was also very accommodating about picking up the items once they were dry. She was great with the girls and has such a fantastic attitude. The art studio is decorated adorably. You can bring your own snacks and buy your drinks there. They even have alcoholic beverages for adults. I highly recommend this studio!

Imagine my surprise when, because I am a veteran I needed to pay nothing to transfer. I literally still feel like I did something wrong. I would pay them a fee and even think that they should have a "fee donation" policy. All said, go to Blue Collar Tactical for your firearms. They are also all veterans.

Transfer fees are high, transfer policies are predatory, seems like this guy doesn't want any…read moretransfer business. Most guns on his website are drop shipped to him and not in stock. Prices on the website are MSRP retail, not competitive in this day and age and seems to be trying to match overpriced Garys Gun Shop in their business model. Transfer fee is probably high because you can buy a gun online from a competitor and pay his $40 transfer fee and still pay a lot less than buying directly from his shop. In SF you can do a transfer for $20-25 at a lot of places if you call around, they are all the same, all they are doing is running an electronic background check, it costs the business next to nothing to process this for you. If they tell you different, they are lying. This guy wants pre-payment of $40 before he gets your transfer and if you don't pay it beforehand, he will charge you $100 for the transfer, not only that if you don't get it in 30 days he keeps it. You have to love this quote from his policy: "Please, we don't send mail to your house without telling you, don't send your mail to ours without telling us." My house isn't a business, yours is, that's the difference, get over yourself. Below is the transfer policy taken directly from his website: TRANSFERS ****If arrangements are not made within 30 days of transfer arrival for pickup of transferred item said item will become property of Blue Collar Tactical LLC. Standard Transfers:We charge a receiving/background check fee of $40.00 for standard non- NFA transfers. Blind Transfers:We charge a non-negotiable $100 blind transfer fee to release an item for which the transfer was not pre-paid. Please call ahead or stop by and pre-pay for any transfer coming our way. All items not paid will be sent back at original owners/original FFL expense. What is a blind transfer? Any item for which we have zero pre-payment for an item going on our log books. Please, we don't send mail to your house without telling you, don't send your mail to ours without telling us. NFA Transfers: (National Firearms Act Items)All NFA transfers will be charged a fee of $100 for any Machine Gun, Suppressor/Silencer, AOW (Any Other Weapon), Destructive Device, and Short Barreled Rifle.
