She is an amputee, has other autoimmune medical issues, and is pitbull/chocolate lab mix. Trent, the owner, and our trainer, Jenisa, were amazing & so accommodating to work with. Mandy came back after 3 weeks with immense improvements to the point where my wife states that she is a different dog! They equipped us with the skills to continue Mandy's training as well. We hope to continue this to get her Canine Good Citizen certified. We cannot recommend Ridgeside K9 Charlottesville enough!

Stopped by here a couple weeks ago, asked if they could do a quick clipping. $5 said we never need an appointment for nails. Another neat thing she did was having me hold a towel around my dog's neck. Said she hates using a muzzle and dogs stay calm. They have it where you can wash your dog or they can do it, the choice is yours. Give it a shot, you'll like it!

She is very talented, and our pups love coming here. They go in stinky and needing a good haircut, and they come out smelling awesome and looking beautiful! They get so excited, I know they feel better after getting all cleaned up. With these little dogs, eyes tend to get a little dirty with the normal eye goo, and she does a fantastic job on them, something that can be difficult with the little guys. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend her! She is pretty awesome!!

Pooch Purrfect is not the type of place to not tell you if something happens during grooming. Seems odd that the paw pad is that bad but took a whole day for it to bleed please understand that I love my dog and would never take it to a groomer I didn't trust. Wouldn't the dog limp and favor the other paws at pick up if this happened at the groomer? just my opinion as I have to respond to the nonsense that people post. I love this place and this is not their character. plain and simple. As you can see below my dog is happy there and I wouldn't take him anywhere else!!

The best training we received in our classes was on what we needed to do differently to best communicate what we needed from our dog. Sheli always takes the time to address special concerns with you, loves talking with you after training sessions and is very direct, positive and reassuring throughout the entire training process. Best of all, Sheli hasn't forgotten that a dog is an animal and some of the greatest joys in being a pet owner come from just allowing your dog to be a dog. I highly recommend a few basic classes at Love On A Leash to hep both you and your dog find the right line of communication for a happy relationship.
