Stop with the predatory lending, aggressive pressure when people are struggling to pay your…read moreastronomical interest rates just so they can keep their automobile. This company is nothing more than a cheap loan shark scheme. They have found unethical ways to manipulate the laws in order to rape folks out of all the money they can get. It's hard to believe they're able to operate legally and make these predatory loans they know people will not be able to pay back. They operate in the guise of being a 30 day pawn shop, but know their customers are there for more time, which they gladly provide. If everyone took out only 30 day loan and payed them back in that time, this company would shut its doors. These people are shysters and have no moral code or decency. Sadly, the customer service at the branch in NC was not to be found in the Ridgeland branch. I found a house that I was interested in purchasing, so I went to the bank. I was told to call a person in Beaufort who handled mortgage loans. I contacted the person and received less than personable service. That interaction and an unpleasant visit to the drive in tellers made the decision for me to close my account. (When your drive in speakers are not working, laughing at a customer is not the best reaction. When customers are waiting in line-put down your phone. Carrying on personal conversations with other tellers instead of paying attention to the transaction and customer in front of you is not good customer service). I found a very friendly, helpful bank which makes me feel appreciated as a customer-not an inconvenience.
