The project had stalled but was moving along at that point so he received the $7,000 he would have gotten at the end of the project (said he needed to pay his daughter's college tuition). Then he never returned to the job site. I was left (final 4 months) to finish the home on my own (dealing with sub contractors, etc; from painting to HVAC). Most of the contractors were leary to do work with Mr. Poole's name attached as he owed most, if not all, money. $10,000 was put in escrow to be used by him to buy items for the home build. Upon request he did not comply with a lawyers letter requesting receipts for purchases made. What did he do with that $10,000? I have a suspicion that he is (whether he meant to be or not) involved in a ponsi scheme of sorts where he takes the money from one client and uses it to pay where ever he is behind in bills and not necessarily on the client's project. Plenty of errors in the "custom home." Buyer beware.

I don't usually leave reviews but this warrants one…read more My experience with All American Fence has been awesome from start to finish. Hank and Eddie were exceptional in attitude and work ethics. They care about the quality of their work and craftsmanship. The Fence pickets are true 3/4 thick and 6 in wide. They use a premium picket and the end results with material and workmanship shows. It is our opinion and experience that this company and it's owner "Shawn" do not care about the…read morequality of their work or the satisfaction of the customer. By reading other reviews, I now see this to be true! We contracted with All American Fence and Irrigation August 2022 to do a fence and a new sprinkler system. There were no major issues with the fence other than cementing into the drain line. See below. Regarding the irrigation system, it is our opinion that we experienced poor service and workmanship. The crew hit a drainage line while installing the fence posts and shot cement into the pipe-causing drainage back up. We then had a collapse and erosion in our front yard. They did send out a manager to look who said it wasn't their error. We accepted that. As a result, we dug a new drainage line from the backyard,through the front yard, and out to the street. It is then thst we noticed that the drain line was severly damaged. It appeared to have been torn up during the installation of the sprinkler lines. We have called the office several times and they refuse to make it right! Per management, due to the '811" clause,they are not responsible for unforeseen damages. We are asking that they pay for the new plastic drainage pipe-no labor fee as we did all the work already.
