The food was delicious! That was the first time I'd had cheese rolls. We wanted more, but we could only have one each. They had other breads for us to choose from, but only gave each person the cheese roll. I enjoyed our time listening and dancing with the entertainers. Ten stars.

I recommend the 3D movies there if you fancy them. The rooms are very comfortable and all the venue is very clean. Apart from the fact that you are next to one of the postcards of the city: lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas (a very famous lagoon from Rio, nice to take your kids or just walk around).

Movies are a bit different in Brazil, you're going to get assigned seats so make sure you buy your tickets early so you can pick a good location - no need to wait in line early. This theater has a bookstore, a café, and a small snack shop as well. Popcorn and pop are ridiculously cheap here. Compare it to the U.S. where you're going to pay $20 for a large of each. Here they cost around R$15. Most of the movies are shown with subtitles, but make sure you pay attention when buying the tickets because some (like almost all animated films) are dubbed. The theater is a bit cold, but the seats are super comfortable and the image and sound are great. An excellent place to go on a rainy or lazy day.

I doubled checked their website before leaving and it said there was a 4:20 showing of the film. This has happened close to 40% of the time I come for a matinee at this theater. I will take my business elsewhere for matinees. If you do show up for a matinee be prepared for a wasted trip.

The regular theaters were still fairly nice; clean comfortable chairs. They didn't have doce pipoca (sweet caramelized popcorn) which was disappointing but most theaters don't even have it as an option, maybe if we were at a more popular day. Women's restrooms were not impressive but luckily it's attached to the mall so when the three person bathroom gets crowded you can walk somewhere else. Ticket line was some what slow, with at least three people working the desk but the line barely inching forward with little kids getting restless. Nevertheless, we'd most likely return for the good selection of movies (both dubbed and subtitled).
