This agent sold me an insurance policy under false pretenses, misrepresenting the coverage and failing to disclose that he was not even licensed to sell insurance in Massachusetts. As a result of his negligence, the RMV flagged my vehicle as uninsured, revoked my license plates, and fined me. This has caused major disruptions, preventing me from registering my car, obtaining necessary parking permits, and even driving legally. On top of that, when I tried to find a legitimate insurance provider, I discovered that my quotes were now significantly higher due to this mess he caused. When I confronted the agent about the issue, he was completely unhelpful--first avoiding my calls, then brushing me off, and ultimately offering me $ out of his pocket as if that would make up for the damages he caused. He admitted to "assuming I would register my car in state of VT eventually" (which was never mentioned in our discussions) and told me I should "just explain to the police officer if I get pulled over." This is completely inappropriate and reckless advice. After I filed formal complaint with State Farm, she had the courage to lie about this whole event and how everything happend. I would strongly recommend avoiding this agent at all costs--they are incompetent and dishonest and will leave you to deal with the mess they caused on your own. Save yourself the stress and go with a reputable, licensed insurance provider instead and avoid State Farm and this office!

My agent called me back within 15 minutes at that late hour to tell me that, yes, it was automatically insured. Who does that? I lost her direct line phone number that was given to me and asked her for it again but she refused and said "just call anyone". I believe it's best to talk to the same person when I need service. Especially something like auto and home insurance which has a lot of moving parts and is expensive. Even though Winooski Insurance is local it no longer feels that way. Not what it used to be. One of the reasons why I shop local is to get personal attention. I'm taking my business elsewhere.
