We ordered room service one night and made the mistake of ordering clam chowder, thinking we were on the East Coast and should try some seafood. It came, a pool of plain cream, plastic-like potatoes and bits of clam, obviously from a can. We also ordered nachos, which came warm, but cold enough for the cheese to have hardened substantially - to the point that you had to rip the chips apart just to eat them. They also had dumped too much raw red onions and seasoning salt (cajun? weird), so it tasted like really salty, pungent chips. The food is Mediterranean/Italian but we couldn't have lemoncello or even espresso at the end of the meal. Dessert is either creme Brule (eyeroll) or something called "chocolate". The chocolate option is basically a very soft brownie, heavy on the cocoa. Good enough but it would have been great to have a biscotti and espresso at the end or something fruity. Or even Gelato. Overall we recommend Fresco because the food is delicious. But as a retired chef and well traveled foodie I think there are a few tweaks they could make.
