They even provided a location view for myself and my friends in New Hampshire where the pieces were going. (Move was from Hudson Valley to NH). One of the pieces being moved was a vintage 1850s Armoire and it was heavier than i remembered, and the team did an incredible job taking care of it. It was in a basement with a low ceiling that led out to a grassy path before reaching a driveway, so while not far per se, it was a difficult journey and I am grateful they took such good care of it. I highly, highly recommend Shamrock & Michael M. and will be working with them again in the future.

RUN THE OTHER WAY. Wish I could give Mike & his "team" zero stars. They did a move for my family in…read moreAugust and we are STILL cleaning up the mess they made. Took 11 hours to do a move that should have been 5 (the new house is literally 5 minutes away), insisted on 2 movers even though we requested 3 and then charged us for overtime. Damaged a mint condition vintage chair, and the worst of it all: "built" all 3 beds incorrectly and dangerously and HID PIECES (like literally the center support beam) under moving bags. I had to switch the mattresses after they left because they put them in the wrong spot and discovered all beds were barely hanging together by a few loose screws - had we slept on them as is, the beds could have easily collapsed while we were sleeping. Had to buy new parts and rebuild all 3 beds myself. They also "ran out of time" to put our boxes away in the right places, so even though it took ELEVEN HOURS for this move and we paid extra for each staircase, we still had to move all of our boxes up multiple levels into the proper rooms ourselves. Mike acknowledged how horrible the move was and promised compensation/refund, but then completely ghosted us. Pretty despicable for a young father and someone who clearly prided himself on being "a standup guy" (he mentioned it about 3 times that day). He's honestly lucky we don't sue this company... maybe we should if he still refuses to get back to us. Mike, just do the right thing and refund us, man.

He arrived early on the day of the work, was friendly, professional, did quality work and stuck to the quote, which was very reasonable. He even called me while doing the install to see if I wanted to change the dow-spout location on my garage since the corner had settled and forced the gutter to sit low on the facia (changing the down spout would have eliminated this). The aesthetic of that section did not bother me since it is not readily viewed from the house, but the fact he called to flag it and see if I wanted to make a change says a great deal about the pride he takes in his craft. I recommend these guys fully!

I have to be honest...it is unfortunate that I never expect a call back when I leave a message. Just personal experience. He came out to my historic home in the heights in Newburgh, and immediately corrected my thinking on my existing yankee gutters. He went up on the roof when I wasn't there, and cleared the leaves that were likely causing the water build up in them. I have an unrelated roofing issue that he explained in great detail via video and photos to my email. Being in construction myself, I was very, very pleased with his response, explanation, and overall professionalism. As an aside--he gave a friend of mine doing a new construction project an EXCELLENT price on new seamless gutters. This is clearly a conscientious owner of a well-run business.
