I came to Toronto after my sister passed away and in haste brought a suit for my husband that required cleaning. What made my experience unique was that I dropped the suit off and requested it for the day before Good Friday. When I did not show the attendant attempted to call me and when I did not answer, he left a note on the door of the cleaners asking me to call him so he could meet me there on the holiday. Recalling this reminds me of how kind and considerate people can be to others. It was a difficult time for me and I wanted to let you know how grateful I was for your compassion and concern. I've been looking for somewhere to get my alterations done ever since the Stitch It debacle of…read more2012. Gates Cleaners & Alterations is so darn close to me, I figured I'd give them a try. My husband has taken his dry cleaning here before and they have always done a great job so I figured, why not? I took three pairs of dress pants in to be hemmed and needed them back by the weekend. Not only were they ready on time but the workmanship was awesome. I am very please with the service I have received so far and I'm thankful that I have found somewhere new to go.
