Wow, this place is AMAZING!!!…read more We just stopped in for happy hour, and the whole place gives you the feeling that you're actually on the golf course. it even feels like you're sitting in a pro shop while you eat! I also love how convenient everything is. The menu is right on a QR code, you can order more food or drinks without having to flag anyone down, and you can even close out your tab right from your phone. Such a fun atmosphere, great concept, and definitely a place I'd come back to!

Wow! What an incredibly fun night! We had such a great experience at PopStroke…read more We arrived a little after 8:00 p.m. on a Saturday with a group of five adults and one child. The parking lot was packed, which is usually a good sign that you're in for a fun evening. One helpful tip for first-time visitors: when you arrive, the main entrance actually leads into the restaurant, Bar Tenders. If you're there to play mini golf, look to the left of the entrance for the golf check-in counter where you'll purchase your tickets. We were celebrating a friend's birthday, and everyone had a fantastic time. I have to admit, my husband and I were a little skeptical at first. We typically enjoy traditional mini golf courses with themed obstacles, so seeing mostly putting greens made us wonder if we'd enjoy it. We were pleasantly surprised! The courses are beautifully designed, well-landscaped, and much more fun than we expected. The property is well thought out, with TVs throughout the course (perfect for catching the World Cup matches), a central bar, benches scattered around the course, and even hooks for purses at many of the holes, which was such a thoughtful touch. There are two 18-hole courses, one easier and one more challenging. Your admission includes unlimited play on both courses for the day, which makes the price feel like a great value. We paid $30 per adult, with discounted pricing for children. They were also offering a summer special where, for $50, you receive unlimited play through the end of September. They also mentioned offering healthcare discounts, and I believe they may have military and teacher discounts as well, although I can't personally confirm those. Another feature I thought was really convenient was the QR codes located throughout the course. You can scan them to order drinks for delivery right to your location on the course. I'm not sure whether food can also be ordered this way, but it was a nice touch. Even though the venue was busy, it never felt overcrowded. The course kept people spread out well, so there wasn't much waiting between holes. Overall, we truly had a great time. Everyone in our group ended up purchasing the $50 summer pass because we enjoyed ourselves so much. We'll definitely be back again soon!

The menu is prix fix, and they have some additional specials that carry an up-charge. Wines by the glass were good, I like that they have Flowers Chardonnay like they do at their beach club. The food was excellent. We enjoyed the Crab & Avocado Salad and the really nice Grilled Chicken Skewers. Then Pan Seared Halibut served with Pea Risotto and Grilled Lamb Chops, 4 double cut chops, with Brussel Sprouts... really good! A tray of assorted desserts was just ok, nothing particularly stood out. Suffered from plating and putting in a fridge to hold... and served too cold. Service was on a high level. Colleagues who had attended meetings the week prior raved about the food and I wasn't disappointed. Our lunch included vegetable soup, Mediterranean salad, hummus and pita, salmon, lemon capered chicken, and really delicious potatoes. For dessert they had bread pudding and baklava. During breaks the staff kept our room clean and refreshed the beverages. Well done!! If you're looking to host a meeting in the area, I highly recommend this location.

Boca Rio Golf Club is exclusively for members and if they want to book parties etc. This place is very proper and very old Boca glamour. They had arranged a gorgeous room with beautiful flowers everywhere. For cocktail hour the servers were providing top notch service. As soon as I was done eating or drinking they took the plate or drink from me. And of course I went a few times to try all the appetizers. The shrimp cocktail, tuna tataki, smoked salmon, veggie dumplings, etc were all amazing. For the dinner segment, they had set up portable chef stations outside. This gave everyone the opportunity to look outside to the pristine golf course and enjoy the view. They had steak stations, seafood, Asian cuisine etc. I was stuffed from cocktail hour however I tried a few items. The only thing lacking at dinner time was the fact many of the dishes were very low on seasoning and a bit bland. Overall, the food was excellent but I needed a bit more salt/seasoning. My favorite dinner component was the endless arrangement of different kinds of salads. There is nothing like fresh greens. For dessert: I was thrilled they set up bite size portion desserts. My favorite was the carrot cupcake, which tasted divine. Overall, this club is gorgeous and if you have a chance to go, check it out. Class A act for sure.~

Most of these are on the short side, but almost every hole has an approach over water to a small and undulating green. This course will really give you a chance to dial in your short irons, or you will be losing a lot of balls. The course does have some distance between some of the holes as it meanders through the community so a cart is still the way to go. Some of the carts have little air conditioners built in. That is a first for me, but must be really nice on the hot days. It is pretty loud, but can just be turned on and off in between shots. There are some really nice courses not too far away, but would recommend as a good practice round, or if you don't have much time or are playing with someone that a full course might be too much for. The length would be good for a beginner, but all the water would make it a pretty tough test for them.
