I've visited Plato's Closet with my 10-year-old son, and on two separate occasions he told me he felt uncomfortable. The first time was because there was a topless mannequin with defined nipples displayed in the store. The second time, he commented that some employees' clothing was so revealing that he could see parts of their bodies he has been taught are private. As a parent, I appreciate businesses that create an environment where families can shop comfortably together. I understand Plato's Closet caters to teens and young adults, and I respect everyone's personal style. However, I also believe there's a balance that can be maintained in a retail setting that welcomes customers of all ages. I hope management will consider how store displays and dress expectations affect the experience of families who choose to shop there.

This place isn't even on the beach so it's not like this is about trading cost for convenience. The brands also aren't anything crazy. It's like when you go to Sam's and see the original price on whatever piece of clothing they're selling for $15, except it's still the original price! It's just outrageous numbers for the sake of it. There was no one in here except for us and the young women behind the counter didn't even bother to say hello or ask if we needed any help. They mostly chatted loudly to each other or looked at their phones. The store is incredibly crowded with racks and racks of clothing. To top it all off, they didn't even have the flip flops we came in to look for that they had last year!
