I couldn't understand her. Kept saying no. Sat in my own blood the rest of the duration. Arguments broke out in front small kids. They said if I needed surgery there was no General Surgeon on premises and that they would have to transport me elsewhere. Thought it was my appendix so they just left me in lobby with no one to check on me for 7 hours. Horrible!

Believed my chain of command who accused me of malingering despite constantly coming in for the same symptoms and ended up having to be hospitalized bc of their negligence. I will be filing a tort against CRDAMC. If I were to ever be in life threatening situation and my only option was to go to Darnall, I'd just rather die where I'm at then be transported to Darnall. The VA has recognized the discrepancies in my records as well.

Whoever thought it was a good idea to make patients check in using a phone clearly didn't think it through. It feels like the front desk is avoiding doing their job by having sick patients check themselves in, and it creates unnecessary contact points where germs can easily spread. If someone comes in for a non-illness-related issue, they're now exposed to germs from everyone touching the same equipment. As for the care itself, I will say the medical team is fast, efficient, and provides quality treatment. However, the front desk experience completely overshadows that. Another major issue is the lack of privacy. The front desk openly asks patients, "What's going on with you?" in front of the entire waiting room. While I was there, a man came in and had to quietly tell the receptionist he had diarrhea -- in front of everyone. That's embarrassing and absolutely not how patient information should be handled. These conversations should be left for triage in a private room, not asked out loud in a lobby full of strangers. Because of these issues, I will not be returning to this location.

She claimed there is no grace period and tried to imply he was lying about the time, even though he showed up at 10:04 for a 10:00 appointment. He had to call off work, pick our daughter up from daycare, and still got turned around at the door. When I questioned why the call kept dropping and said, "Are you acting like you can't hear me?" Ms. Raquel / Ms. Rachel suddenly came back on the line with a rude attitude and falsely accused me of calling her a name--even though I was speaking to people in the background. Instead of remaining professional, she escalated the situation by threatening me, telling me to "come say it to her face," and when I arrived to unenroll my children, she said, "Ain't you coming to look for the h?"**--continuing to provoke and disrespect me. When I asked her to step outside so we could talk calmly, she refused and continued being unprofessional behind the counter. Management also made no effort to listen to my side or address her behavior. I unenrolled my children and left. I would NOT recommend this pediatrics office to anyone--not even my worst enemy.
