This isn't the best pub in the world (but you're in the back area of Fiztrovia, the pubs all seem the same). But it does have one thing going for it: the service is quick.
It somehow manages to be packed outside, but there isn't a massive queue to get to the bar. In fact I've only ever waited a few minutes to get served. But considering how busy it is, this is always a shock. I think I prefer The Green Man (the next pub down Riding House Street), but if you know the area, you'll know how quickly it gets busy on a Friday evening. So I'm impressed with this place. It might not be the best boozer in the area, and it's nothing to write home about (you wouldn't come here unless you were in the area), but y'know, I think I'll be back. Beer was alright - I was drinking pints of Star so I was happy, but I think they only have one cider. If I remember rightly it was Strongbow. As I'm not a cider drinker, I don't know if that's a good thing.
Unless of course someone can tell me of a great pub in the area that you can actually get to the bar in read more
