Run. Seriously. Run away as fast as you can…read more The problem is that John Andersen is actually a talented coder. He's smart. He's an electrical engineer. And he actually knows how to code. Why is that a problem you ask? Because John is also the most rude and unprofessional person you'll ever meet. He doesn't understand the most basic concepts, like deadlines. Or manners. John thinks deadlines don't apply to him. Because he's an artist who creates code. So he's exempt from estimating time of completion. Oh and get ready for invoices galore. John wants 250 every time I sneeze. Not because he did work to earn the 250. Nope. It's because he's overdrawn on his personal bank account and needs money to keep his lights on. It took me a minute to figure out why he constantly needed another 250, or 445, or 265....preferably by western union so that his bank wouldn't apply the money to the overdrawn amount first. I can't make this stuff up. And if you think he doesn't understand deadlines, wait to you see how John Andersen explains budgets and payments to you. I don't think even the inventors of common core can explain his math to you. I'm not trying to dump on John. Like I said, he's a good coder. But because he got into some serious personal money problems, he took advantage of his clients. And if you're still skeptical, read the other two reviews. Similar pattern. This isn't brain surgery. Vermont internet design is not a company. It's John Andersen. And when he has work and is financially stable, maybe he's a good coder and someone you want in your team. But today, and it looks like for a while now, John Anderson is not someone you want to do business with. As a final example, I have attached a screenshot of the last text that John Andersen sent me after I refused another random $750 payment request. Long story short, he threatened to reconfigure my app, and for a low buy in cost of $1000 right now, I can get half of this new app and company that he built. With my app. Nice, huh?
