I could say "no" to "fun", but there's no way I would walk away from "endearing", and with a devil-may-care half-smile, I threw my proverbial hat in the ring. The studio was less seedy than I had anticipated, but it wasn't nearly as charming as the corner of the playroom where I used to lick-and-stick myself with images of Bazooka Joe & friends. The vibe of 70's hits pumping over the speakers immediately put me at ease, because they were the same songs I listened to back in the "tattoo studio" of my youth. How would I describe the pain? As the artist drew the outline, it was like burning sensations I had felt before, manageable, yet without the scent of singed hair. My masculinity levels surged. Howeverrrrrrrr... the color fill was a new experience altogether. In what can only be explained as a podiatrist performing ankle surgery without administering sedative, the look of steely determination on my face melted into a bewildered grimmace, as if I had sneaked a peek into the Ark of the Covenant while the Nazi's weren't paying attention. I was a little disappointed as she was booked for another 4 months but she said one of the other artists, Will had some availability. Rayne reassured me that I'd be in great hands with Will; makes sense that she wouldn't have anyone that wasn't a good artist, right? Well, today was my appointment and man did Rayne hire one of the best artists that I've ever worked with (I have some tattoos from a couple places in Vegas and locally). I liked them all but Will was spot on with what I wanted and what would work best for my tattoo location and skin color. Straight away, Will made me feel comfortable and not at all like I was just another job. The shop is professional, clean and fun (there's a friggin payphone in the lobby!). All the formal paperwork completed and aftercare information even if you have had tattoos. No matter if the state requires this, it is still a good practice that they do for every client - consistency makes the experience solid for new and seasoned clients (this is what you pay for too, people). Hasn't even been a day of healing yet and I'm already thinking of what/when I'll be scheduling my next appointment with Will.

She was very professional and did an AWESOME job! The shop was clean, busy, and everyone was nice and professional!! I went to the same shop on 11/9/24 expecting to get the same treatment. When I walked in there was no one in there but a piercing artist (not even customers and it was a Saturday). Very nice, friendly man informed me that the two tattoo artists were late. So we decided to wait. The shop was not as clean as I remembered last time. Ava arrived an hour later. After she got settled, she worked on creating and applying my tattoo. When she was done she told me if you need a touch up, it's free by her. I have 5 other tattoos and have never been told that. When my tattoo healed I noticed it looked spotty. My daughter got the same one on the same spot and hers looks brand new and it's 3 years old. I asked other people, does it look like it needs a touch up? They all agreed. I called on 11/23/24 and left my name and number with the lady who answered the phone. She told me she would get it to Ava. Never got a call back. I called again on 12/13/24 (debated on getting it touched up somewhere else) the piercing artist remembered me and asked Ava if she knew her schedule so I could get in. I could hear her response with an attitude. I get they were busy due to it being Friday the 13th but I've called already. He promised me she would get in contact with me. I ended up going in (pretty frustrated) on 12/18/24. I explained to the lady what was going on. Again, I left my name and phone number. Finally, Ava texted me (could have TEXT the first time). Had an appointment today 12/26/24 at 12:30. I took $20 to tip for her time (I paid $105 and tipped $25 already). I walked in the same time as other people did. I sat on the couch waiting for Ava. No one addressed me. While sitting there I overhear Ava talking about me to two other artists. Telling them how I was upset. She was not showing remorse, she was talking shit. It's a no brainer that someone would be upset putting a permanent tattoo on their body that is not a 100% and the artist would not call back. I got up and walked out the door after saying "forget about it Ava". I also found out she is a manager​????. I am very sad that I do not have this tattoo shop to go to and to recommend to my friends and family. All my reviews I have written are 5 stars. I feel I have to give this review so others do not get the same treatment.

I don't want anyone else to be deceived. She's unprofessional and her work is mediocre at best. Her prices aren't even cheap! Go someone reputable and pay the same amount for a much cleaner and more beautiful tattoo. Now I will be going elsewhere to have this crap fixed and paying double what I should have in the first place. This was my 8th tattoo. So I knew what should have happened from start to finish. She had no clue what she was doing. I should have walked out. Again, my fault. And if I had looked at the pictures she posted on Facebook I wouldn't have been there. But again, I trusted people who I shouldn't have trusted. She went on and on about how amazing she was. Lies. She criticized other tattoo artists saying that most of them don't draw their own tattoos and find pictures off the internet. We caught her in a lie. She had a Samurai Warrior Mask drawing that she said SHE drew. It looked familiar to us. So we googled it. It was the first picture that came up. She COPIED IT. Liar. She told us that people wanted to make a tv show centered around her and her work. Lies. There's no way her work would be chosen to put on tv. Unless it was an episode about bad tattoos.
