I have a medical issue that causes me to get vertigo when I'm in the shower, so my husband watches me in case I have any problems. Then he takes his shower after I'm done. We have never had any problems using the handicap shower together before. The young lady at the counter took two punches off our card and handed us our towels and told us rooms 2 and 3 were open. I asked if the big shower was open because that is what we normally used. The heavy set woman who called herself the manager very rudely informed us that we could not use the shower together. I told her we had always used it and tried to explain that we shared the room so my husband could make sure I didn't pass out or fall and hurt myself. She said she didn't care. When I again told her we had always shared the room, she said she had never seen us in there before and she had been there for 7 years. Basically called me a liar. We have 2 of their shower punch cards! Not only did she not give a rats ass about my situation, she wouldn't credit us back the two punches they took off our card. We are locals and use the services year-round. I can't imagine the owner would want to lose the business of the locals who keep the business going the other 9 months of the year that the tourists aren't here because of how the manager treats the locals. I hope the owner reads these reviews. I certainly wouldn't want a person like that representing my business.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The showers are clean - I pay under 8 dollars. The water is hot, the pressure is good, and they aren't that uptight about keeping time if it's slow. Treat yourself and come here to do laundry and take a shower.

And also helped to make change from my $20 so I could get $10 in quarters from their change machine. They have; an ATM, pac man and pin ball games, bubble gum dispenser, soda vending and a snack vending machine. Single person bathroom , couple shower rooms next to it. Main room is smaller washer dryers , by change machine is a back room with larger washer dryers. Washers 2.50 each load in main room and 4.00 large one in back, dryers are 25cents for 6 minutes.

(And if you bring your own towel, the $3 price that they charge is a lot more reasonable than the $10 truck stop. $5 and they provide the towel.)
