Dear [Owner/Manager],
My husband and I have been coming to your laundromat for about a month now while our home is under repair due to pipe damage. Up until today, we have never experienced an issue and have appreciated the convenience your facility provides.
Unfortunately, during our recent visit, we encountered a very disappointing situation. The building was already extremely hot (nearly 92 degrees outside, with little ventilation inside), and when it came time to dry our clothes, the silver baskets we usually use to transfer laundry were locked up. When my husband politely asked about them, the attendant on duty responded in a very unprofessional and disrespectful manner.
Instead of offering assistance or an explanation, she remarked that it was not her fault we did not have our own washer and dryer, and when I asked for the owner's number to address the issue directly, she refused and continued to be dismissive. This left us feeling both disrespected and unwelcome as paying customers.
For clarification, we do have a washer and dryer at home, but as mentioned, we are currently unable to use them due to repairs. Regardless, her comment was unnecessary and unkind. Businesses that provide services to the public rely on customer loyalty, and professionalism is a critical part of that. Sadly, because of the interaction we had today, we will no longer be bringing our business here.
I am sharing this feedback not to cause trouble, but because I feel it is important that you are aware of the way your customers are being treated. A single negative experience like this can easily cause loyal customers to take their business elsewhere, as we now feel we must do.
Thank you for your time and understanding. read more
