Great branding, and initially loved that they had a patio with tables to sit down at (rare for food trucks).
Sadly the positive experience ended there.
I ordered a cheese burger combo with poutine and a drink. It came out to $18 and as I paid I was prompted to add another 18% tip. Really in poor taste.
It took 45 minutes to get my food despite being the only one in line at the time. The burger was made from a frozen patty, similar to what you would pick up from Costco but thinner. The burger was lightly burnt on the outside and dry all the way through.
The fries were soggy and lukewarm.
Overpriced, slow service. Poor quality food. Walk 5 minutes south on Chestnut to Toronto City Hall and you'll get the exact same menu for half the price, twice the speed and of better quality.
Would not recommend. read more
