One thing I dislike these days is companies giving you quotes based on your address. This was not the case with King Christmas Lighting. The communication and response by Andrew was great. Andrew was very punctual and on time and sent a reminder the day before to confirm. The completion took approximately 3 hours for my entire house and they look amazing! Super bummed about this experience. We reached out because my husband and I aren't comfortable getting up on the roof anymore. Set an appointment and they showed up. Nice enough folks but started stapling the lights to my house. I came out and told them I'd prefer to use the light holders that are already installed on my home. He insisted this was "better" and continued to staple the entire top and bottom roof line. They left but came back because they'd left a jacket on the roof. Then night came and the upper lights didn't work so they came the next day to fix them. Just came back today to remove the lights and left every single staple in my roofline. My hubby and I kinda figured that would happen after they didn't respect my request to use our hooks. Didn't even have the decency to remove them when they knew I didn't want it in the first place. 0 stars for this guy and his "company". I first texted with him on October 22 so I would have an early start on planning and scheduling Christmas lights installation. He responded pretty quickly, giving me his general rates and asked for photos of my home. I sent them the same day. On November 4th I reached out again with a basic list of what I wanted done and asked to schedule installation the 1st week of December. He said he was open all week and I asked for Monday, 12/1. He agreed. On November 18 I sent a more detailed list of what I wanted and told him I had a Christmas tree and a lighted garland I want added to the lights he said he would provide. On Saturday, 11/29 I left a message to confirm what time he would be here on Monday. He said he didn't think he confirmed a date with me and he would be far out of town that day. I sent him a screen shot of our conversation and he said sorry, but that was a long time ago and things are pretty hectic right now. But he said he would be in my area today, Tuesday 12/1 if that would work. I said I could make it work and changed my errands and volunteer work to accommodate. I sent a text this morning asking his approximate ETA. He did answer ... all day. No longer answering my texts. I started early with this guy, scheduled around booking the date and rearranged my schedule when he didn't show. Now I'm pretty certain I can't find someone else this week to hang lights on my house, so I'm pretty disappointed. Unprofessional, unreliable and a terrible communicator. We needed lights put up on our house last minute, I reached out to a few different businesses and Andrew was the quickest to respond.
