The food is average in terms of temperature and flavors for Chinese buffet. Oddly there is no white steamed rice available. I tried a variety of different dishes. It was odd to find chicken in the beef/broccoli dish. The cack staff come out with small dishes to refill the pans. So there could be food in the pans on the buffet that has been there for hours or days. As far as the service goes. There isn't any to speak of. You get seated and you get a check really nothing in between. The ambiance is pretty sad. There are items in the dining area that should be in the kitchen and open storage in the back left corner of the place. All said and done. I won't be back and don't recommend this place. To begin with, I went to eat with my Hispanic family. When we entered we immediately got seated towards the back of the restaurant even though there was plenty of space toward the middle and front of the restaurant. There was other Hispanics which also were seated toward the back of the restaurant. However, other races got seated in the middle. Second thing was that our waitress never came to check up on us or give a refill even. The staff was not welcoming at all. There was also plenty of flies roaming the food. read more

I did not care for the shrimp-& fake crabmeat because it was mushy. Probably farmed shrimp. We decided to look around and came across King buffet it's directly across the street from Golden corral and it's packed! There's a reason for this! Gosh I love the place for their variety and price! I am originally from D.C. and absolutely no fan of Tifton but each time I come here to visit my husband, I look forward to eating here. I may be partial since this is my favorite cuisine but if you are really hungry, the sushi, crab meat , variety of chicken should make you feel excited about your meal. The downside is desserts though. None of them is good. And cleanliness, haven't observed enough to comment. On the plus side, it's got real good variety and one of the very few Thai or Chinese restaurants in Tifton. read more

Soups okay, salad bar very limited, main entrees okay but not many veggies, sushi surprisingly okay, and hand-dipped ice cream. Did not try crab legs, frog legs, or Mongolian grill. Just don't! I heard that his place had been renovated and cleaned up.... Wrong! This Chinese buffet has been in town for a number of years. There were major issues with the Dept. of Public Health in the past but they moved to this new location in the old Walmart Shopping complex. Started off pretty good with a good cross cut of customers and the food was pretty good. So, my wife and i decided to give them a try after, probably, a couple of years avoiding the place for the usual reasons; food quality and lack of cleanliness. We made a mistake. The only change I could notice was that the old food saturated, grease embedded carpet had been removed and replaced with vinyl. And the food was approaching awful. The displayed sushi was warm and strong tasting, the fried entrees were room temp and terribly dryed out and most of the serving pans were almost empty. Unescorted children were serving themselves with their bare hands and the wait staff seemed unconcerned. Even saw one little fellow on tip toes trying to serve himself with liquid from his plate dripping back into the serving pan. Enough, enough, enough. Never again, ever! read more

My son eats here while at work he likes the food so we both went there while passing thru Tifton Sunday afternoon. Ticket was $22 or so. Food was good I didnt get anything I didnt like. I always and I do mean ALWAYS eat out and eat Chinese all the time..first thing I do is make a good plate full of peel them shrimp. THey had decent shrimp some places I go to about half the shrimp are overcooked and mushy. These were all fine. I REALLY liked the fried plantains! Not usually seen on a chinese buffet and for dessert I had Apple Strudel it was good. I eat Chinese 3 or so days a week this is not the best I've had but its far from the worst. The only negative I can say is the Dining room to the far RIGHT where we sat sort of smelled like a toilet..not sure why..but I noticed it every time I came back to my seat along far wall on RIGHT of building....other than that the place is ok..its not pretty or fancy but the food was good. read more

My family of 3 was passing through Tifton and seen their sign so we decided to give them a try. They had a decent selection, seating was alright, cleanliness was okay, we ordered 2 sweet teas & I had a Coke. Our waitress wasn't very tentative, she only offered a refill on the teas and only after the glasses was empty! She NEVER offered a refill on my drink, which led to me leaving a small tip. The food that we tried, most was average but some had obviously been setting out for a very long time as you could clearly see it was extremely dry! Some of the food on their buffet was scary to look at much less to even try and eat! You very well may have ended up sick! Then to top it all off, when we go to leave and pay, I gave a older Chinese woman a $100 bill to which she handed me back the change. I admit that I didn't count the change to make sure it was correct but I stuck it in 1 of my pockets which had nothing else in it and when I later pulled the change out, she had ripped me off for $20!!! 3 people ate dinner w/drinks which totaled $37 + change, she gave me back 2 $20's & 2 $1 bills. I called them to try and rectify this issue and they was VERY RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! AVOID THIS RESTAURANT!!!!
