Staff was so helpful--showed me exactly which washer to use for my bulky comforters and even helped sort colors without me asking. Clothes came out perfectly clean, smelling fresh, and folded neatly. I hate it so much I often just buy new clothes instead of washing my old ones. That laundry issue is magnified a thousandfold if you live in a condominium in Makati. One, not everyone has a washing machine in their unit. Two, even if you did, where do you hang the clothes to dry? Thus came the start of my long-term relationship with laundry shops in the Metro Manila. I've tried them all. I have extensive laundry needs for a two-year old, for a husband and for a lot of beddings. So far, the laundry service I love most is Metropole. They are actually the only ones I trust with my daughter's clothes because they use mild laundry detergent that's really just for babies if you ask them to. Their dry cleaning service is just as good, I bought my fur vest to them (which was refused by other laundry shops because of how delicate it is) and they were able to clean it without a hitch. They've never lost any of my clothes and everything comes back clean, neatly folded and smelling really fresh. I am and will always be a loyal client.

Otherwise it normally take 3 days and it would have been P120 ($2.40 US). The area is a little lower class compared to Ortigas area, but there are a lot businesses around and I felt safe walking around there. The biggest cost would not be laundry but paying for Grab there and back P200 each way. I actually took the grab there and walked back to Ortigas with a backpack each time. It wasn't too bad of a walk. Probably 20-30 minutes to get to The Podium. There are motor-tricycle where you can sit in the cab available all around the laundry area. But they don't speak English at all, otherwise, that would have been a cheaper and fun way to get back to Ortigas area.

It's a tiny store, but the service is good and the staff is always very friendly. They've never messed up my laundry and it's a quality I appreciate. I remember the first time I trusted them some of my best dresses. I was freaking out because I had no previous references about the place, but in the end the result didn't disappoint me - clean and pressed clothes with a good smelling. Yay! As usual in this kind of service, they charge you by the weight of your laundry. If it's more than 10kg, then you can count with a free pick up and delivery. If not...well, then just carry your burden :P At least it's clean and perfumed!
