I knew coming in to my day what Chantel stays on point, that woman will do whatever she needs to get the shot and she will not fail you if you have shots you want, I don't know how but with such a tight timeline they do it all. I don't think I can sing the praises of Cracked Light Studio highly enough. I got married on June…read more13, 2015. I hired Cracked Light to do the videography for the event. Prior to the event, Caleb was in constant communication so I always knew what was going on and what to expect - he even coordinated with the DJ in charge of the ceremony and reception to be sure the sound would work out and they wouldn't "step on each other's toes," since my groom was being mic'ed separately to catch the ceremony for the video. Everything we would receive was right in the contract, and there were no gray areas or catch 22's. It was all plain as day and a very fair agreement. Caleb even confirmed with me how I preferred they dress so they wouldn't be out of place, which I appreciated. We got the package that included a short "Story of Our Love" video, where my husband and I talked about how we met (this was shot prior to the wedding). The video was thoughtfully done, with them asking the right questions and catching the right shots to put together a wonderful piece. It was exciting to show our friends and family as we prepared for the wedding. Caleb is a natural interviewer. My husband, who is not known for being in front of cameras, was perfectly at ease when in Caleb's very capable hands. Sarah was incredible at using her photographer's eye to come up with many of the great shots that made up our beautiful video. The day prior to the ceremony, we had the rehearsal, and Caleb and Sarah were there to get the layout of the area and program, and they were already plotting where to stand, where to aim the camera, and figuring out angles to ensure they captured as much of the event as possible while not interfering with anything. (I've heard horror stories where videographers just went wherever they wanted, got in the way of guests, photographers, etc.) I was highly impressed with how well they worked together to come up with a "game plan." The morning of the wedding, they both arrived at 6am to start catching the process of the bridal party getting ready. They left a little beforehand (while we were just loading the cars to head to the venue) so they could start setting up to ensure everything was perfect... and perfect it was. Caleb and Sarah both were the epitome of professionalism. It was REALLY hot the day I got married, which of course was outside (brilliant, right?), and despite the heat, they stayed on top of everything. They worked well with the photographer, they were courteous to the guests, and they managed to capture moments that I wasn't even aware happened, and I was the bride! They stayed until the very end of the reception, even catching our departure. When I received the full length edit, I was brought to tears. I got to see moments that I missed at the wedding, and got to relive some WONDERFUL memories. Jason and I viewed it together, and there were laughs, tears, and love while we watched. I can't describe it as anything other than perfect - perfect moments, perfect editing, and perfect music. Our package also comes with a "highlight" film, and I can't wait to see that one as well.
