As a local, this is a review of their new pop-up bar, The Chalet. It's on the second floor balcony, with multiple seating areas around fire pits. While it's outdoors, the fire pits and blankets available will keep things comfortable. Loved the trees, lights, ski lift chairs, and decor. Perfect for the adorable photos!

What else would you expect from a Kimpton? Great experience and top notch customer service. Thank you for being consistent with the brand.

Would highly recommend this hotel and I actually prefer staying in this area of Denver vs downtown Denver. The DTC area is clean, walkable, and safe with plenty of dining options and hangout places nearby. The service at checkin was great; Chari was fantastic. She made sure I had a nice room with a view. Even the valet attendants were welcoming and provided great service. The room was cozy and comfortable and I would describe it as casual luxury with plush carpet, plush furnishings, and plush mattress / bedding. There were a few cleanliness items that were missed such as a bottle cap beside nightstand from previous guest and a piece of lettuce from previous guest on the in room snack bar tray. The bathroom floor had some lotion or soap that was still wet on the floor when I arrived but other than that everything was spotless. Bathroom is on the smaller side but sufficient for 1 person at a time. They do offer robes in the closet but I found no slippers. Room Service is available every night, even on Sunday evening when the in house restaurant is closed which is a plus. The rooftop bar, Halo, was extremely popular and views were amazing. I also enjoyed the evening reception and appreciated the 15.00 breakfast / lunch credit. In house restaurant, Saverino, was outstanding. This is probably one of the nicer mid tier luxury hotels in Denver as they do not have a ton of modern luxury hotel options. I would certainly stay here again when I'm in the area and if you need an IHG property, this is my top Denver choice for IHG. Rideshare was only about 20 to 22 each way to travel downtown and back.

I am very fond of the Kimpton hotel chain. Their decor is always streamlined and chic. They always have a social hour with complimentary alcoholic beverages. And the staff is always very friendly. This Kimpton Claret hotel is as fabulous as the Kimptons we've stayed at in Boston, Palm Springs, etc. Newly built so everything is particularly shiny and pristine. The rooftop views are spectacular. Our king bedroom and bathroom is spacious and well-appointed. There are huge picture windows that drench your room in sunlight. The lobby bar was swanky as was the sitting area by reception. When you walk in from valet parking there is an inviting fireplace. It's a bit pricey, but it's a great location.

Usually stay at the Marriott in DTC when come back for business and I'm so happy to now have this Kimptom in the area. I can't wait to stay here again!! Everyone was professional, helpful, kind. The hotel is gorgeous. The rooms are comfortable, beautifully decorated and well designed. They offer morning coffee, tea and hot chocolate bar + nightly happy hour with even non-alcoholic options too. I loved my room and every interaction with the staff. Highly recommend.

What a treat it was to stay in this new Kimpton hotel. The decor was stunning with a bright arrival area. Our room was lovely with a sofa sitting area, a combo soaking tub/shower bathroom and a gorgeous view! The Saverina menu was perfection, we had breakfast both mornings that was filling, the potatoes were incredible! Don't forget to visit the Halo Rooftop Bar. They have lovely sitting areas with terrific views and cozy fire pits. The staff were all so welcoming and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay!

It is said that they unveil a brand new theme each year and this year's theme appears to be focused on some Eastern cultures such as cherry blossom and bamboo forest with pandas. Not that I have been to many lights shows and yet I must say that I have never seen anything quite like this as far as my recollection is accurate. In its 12-acre land, the installations of lantern lights are everywhere. After 8:30pm or so when it's dark, the illuminations from the lanterns are glowing brighter than Las Vegas' illuminations (LOL - why am I comparing this to Las Vegas!!) According to the park's website, some of the sculptures are 23-foot tall (such as the cherry blossom gate.) It's currently open from Wednesday through Sunday until October 5th. And last night's was one of the adult-only nights where you must be 21+ to enter (I believe the next and last such night is Sept 17th. And this writing is as of late August of 2025.) I am already curious as to what the next year's theme is going to be. There is a centralized bar, some food vendors, a stage where a performer performs, and a DJ booth. Great for family time, girls' night or date night. Helpful staff were working tirelessly to assist all visitors. Although about 1,300 tickets were sold last night, it was never super jammed packed. There is still time to visit this enchanting light show. Not only for the locals but definitely one of the must-visit attractions for out-of-staters as well.

The Lake House reopened during quarantine with many restrictions around food and social distancing, but we still had a blast. Parking was awful because the main entrance was blocked off, so we found a nearby school lot. It was a nice walk down to the marina. We headed straight to the bar and ordered White Claws and shots. Not sure if this is their typical alcohol selection or limited because of COVID-19. Either way, there was one bartender juggling all the patrons, and she was always friendly. Seating lined the outdoor patio facing the beach. My friend said there used to be live music here, but I guess we'll have to wait until the pandemic is over. For food, they only had basic hot dogs roasting in the oven and bags of chips. For how much we drank, I'm grateful there was anything. Overall it's a decent pub and a perfect spot to take the pups after a day in Cherry Creek park.

Expensive, yes, but if within your budget, an absolutely lovely hotel. HVAC that works really great. Comfy beds. Great towels. Plenty of space in the suites like this one (505). Coffee shop in lobby ( though it is Starbucks over roasted charcoal water, but still...) the Marriott provided coffee is by Colombe and it is very good. No laundry machines on premises, if you need a place with laundry machines. Great, super friendly staff. About a $35 Uber ride to downtown.

I've never had such a great experience with a venue as we had with The Curtis Ballroom. ALL the employees were above and beyond helpful, flexible, and super fast in responding to any question, any changes, just anything. We worked with a few different event planners which helps them be so fast. One person is out of office so another takes over. Brianna, Matt, and Tiffany were our coordinators along the way. Each one was efficient, helpful, courteous, flexible, and patient. We started with a basic contract, but it had to be amended a few times along the way... NO issue at all! SO accommodating! A reunion is hard to plan as people just don't want to pay or commit right away. This makes it hard for the committee to know how much food to order, how we're going to pay for all of this, etc. The fact that they were flexible was beyond helpful! There were many food choices and again they were so flexible with the picking and choosing of what to serve and how to serve it. Day of the event, they assisted us in decorating and making small changes. People loved the food. The bar was reasonably priced and had a decent selection! I thought this was nice as so often a venue bar has lackluster choices. All the people working the night of the event were smiling, happy, and once again... super helpful! I just can't thank them enough. I would highly recommend this place for any party/event and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
