I took him to the salon this time because I wanted to get my hair done at the same time and they had an older gentleman cut his hair this man literally just took a pair of clippers and went to town on his hair cutting it every which way. I said nothing because after all, he's the hairstylist, not me, but after he was done, the owner of the salon had to go in and do some touchups which was already a red flag. Fast forward two months and my son's hair has not grown back in the same at all it sticks up which it's never done before. He's almost 2 1/2 so his hair has been cut many times now and it's grown back many times and it's never happened like this to where his hair just sticks up constantly. I took him back to that original hair salon for kids and they did the best they could, but I still have to use a ridiculous amount of gel on his hair and even still his hair sticks up. I called to ask if they can cut a toddler's hair and they said yes, but they should have been honest and said no because now my son's hair is ruined for as long as I can see.

I waited to write a review until after I washed and styled my hair myself, because that's when the truth comes out. My biggest concern was my curl pattern. I have had my hair blown out by different stylists in order to get a trim/cut, and a lot of the time there was at least minimal damage to my curl pattern. The Natural Masters stylist told me that she was going to be gentle and had used a heat protectant, so there wouldn't be any damage. Mmmmmmkaaaayyyy, side eye, side eye. But she was right. No noticeable damage. My hair feels fantastic and, even though she didn't specifically shape my hair, the shape is pretty good. I've seen a number of reviews that say the stylists make up pricing on the spot. "Determine pricing" is probably a more accurate way to put it. I was told that the price is dependent on length, which makes sense to me. My hair was bra-strap length when blown out, so on the longer side. The consultation + In & Out + scalp treatment cost $245. That's more than I've ever spent on a wash, deep condition, and trim, but worth it to me since I've never had such high quality versions of these services. The receptionist was kind and welcoming, the space was clean and well-appointed, and it was a very relaxing experience. My one complaint is that no one (including my stylist) introduced themselves. I'm only realizing this now since I'd like to give the receptionist and the stylist their due, but you know who you are - so thank you for such a great appointment!

I put a same day deposit for services which I was only told at the time would be deducted from the total. Apparently there was an email sent AFTER the phone conversation with the company policy which states they reserve the right to keep the deposit ( please see attached photograph). If I knew about the deposit being non refundable PRIOR TO /OR DURING booking , I would have done a walk in instead. After being told the service would cost almost $300, the service was declined and would not be refunded or transferred to another service. I asked to speak with the manager and was assured she would call me back that day. 1 week later, I have followed up and received a call back from Ms. Pauline. She attempted to be helpful but I found her tone and referring to me as "honey" instead of by my name ( as I did her) was very condescending. There was no offer of an apology just more explanation of why they were in the right and the customer who only received a consultation was in the wrong. I'm going to chuck up my $55 deposit as a "consultation fee" but it leaves me with no good word to spread about this company.
