My favorite nail place! They are efficient and do a wonderful job. My nails can last over 4 weeks without chipping or breaking. Once you go into their shop it is so relaxing. 10/10 recommend read more

I asked for dip powder. The girl who did my nails drilled too much off around my cuticle and when I left it looked like I already had 2 weeks of grow out. Not only that I just soaked my nails off and there is a an entire chunk of my nail missing in the middle of my nail plate on my pinky finger where it was drilled too much and at too much of an angle. I am a licensed cosmetologist so I know what's right and wrong in salons and I'm just upset that specific care was not done for me and my nails. read more

I love Susan and the owners. My friend owns a salon in San Diego. When visiting her, she said, "your nails look great." That is quite a compliment from my perfectionist nail and hair salon owner for over 30 years. Just make sure your gels are under the light for 60 seconds each. read more

Horrible manicure. I have polish on my skin and she didn't even cover the whole nail with topcoat so it's going to chip easily. I'm very careful after a manicure, though I've never had to be. My nails are usually durable after the polish. Not here! I somehow got a dent in the polish by the time I got home. Just a complete waste of money. Don't waste your time here. Update: Less than 24 hours later I have 2 chips. I haven't done anything rough that could cause this. So frustrating. What a waste of money. read more

Kimle Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Alexander City, Alabama

The salon is clean and staff are professional. The problem I have is their method for a dip manicure. They are basically doing a gel manicure NOT a dip. They start off like a dip but after three dips they basically change to a gel process. They put a gel sealer on and dry under the ultraviolet light. The nail polish ends up being very thick and looks like a gel manicure. This is not the proper process and defeats the purpose of getting any dip powder on the nail. The end result is a gel nail with dip powder underneath. After my last "dip/gel combination" at this salon one of my nails chipped off like a gel nail would do. I want to give this salon my business because it is close to my home. However I will be returning to a salon - in another city - I've used many times where the dip manicure is done correctly. read more

This was a wonderful experience!! Nothing fancy, just people who know what they are doing! I had a very specific issue with a deep, hard to get to ingrown toenail, and most nail places I go to don't adequately handle the problem. Even though I am from 3 states away and just happened to be near Alexandria City....The staff at Kimle absolutely, and with confidence handled my hard to handle issue!! Beautiful job on my gel pedicure!! Lots of colors to choose from!! Definitely recommend this nail salon!! read more

I've been looking for a nail salon at the lake. After many tragic attempts I've finally landed on a winner. This spot is unassuming with a perfect 100 health score. The locals are regulars, many boasting they've been coming here for over 10 years. My pedicure was excellent, the selection of magazines was solid, and the owner was a delight. I'll definitely be back! read more
