To set the story, my wife and I broke down on I-10 East bound outside of Sonoma TX. We were searching for someone that could repair our RAM 2500. We had a 36 foot 5th wheel that our RAM was towing. Erica, Roy's daughter, Roy, Preston, and Roy Jr. made us feel welcome. Erica made every effort possible to help us with getting a tow, and finding somewhere to put the RV while we were being repaired and was concerned with getting my wife and I safely off I-10 and assure us that they can get us back on the road as quickly as possible. It was a major job to repair our RAM. Immediately the entire staff made us feel welcome. We trusted Roy immediately. It is a family business and my wife and I felt like we were family. If I am ever back in Junction TX, Roy will be a stop to say hello. I would recommend Roy and his entire staff highly. I cannot commend Roy's Garage enough. His professionalism and customer satifaction is matched by none.

They cared about us and our situation, which was we were trying to get out to California without coming into contact with people or things or places, so we would not be exposed to the Virus. When I let them know that I either needed a tire replacement or a tow to the nearest town to purchase a new tire, I was met with arrogance, frustration, and a general lack of customer service skills. I was snarkily told that they don't service people like me, and pretty much to kick rocks and start walking. I was always raised to never judge somebody based on their innate characteristics, and to always extend a helping hand to those in need where possible - because it was the right thing to do. Compassion, patience, and kindness are among the most important traits for an individual and/or business to exemplify, and I can assure you that none of those are found within the staff of Rocksprings Automotive. Instead, you'll find predatory business practices, greed, and a desire to cherry pick service calls and metaphorically spit on those who are down on their luck. Be extremely cautious when calling for service from Rocksprings, as they appear likely to either leave you stranded for hours at a time, take advantage of your situation, or perhaps even worse. These things can be commonplace in West Texas and whether it was racially motivated which seems likely based on our conversation, or whether they simply don't care about providing actual assistance to those in need, this is certainly not a company you'd want to trust for yourself, or your loved ones to get help from. It's evident that some folks shouldn't work in the service industry, and that some bad people are still out there making business decisions that adversely affect everyone in the community, but nevertheless it's what we have to sometimes deal with. Take your money elsewhere, don't even take the risk - and steer clear of Rocksprings Automotive unless you want to end up on the news, or in a worse situation than you likely are already in.
