I went there because of the 581 5stars. Must have been all family or the just deleted all negative reviews. I walk in and tell them that I want a complete interior,exterior and under the hood detailing. I have a 2026 Silverado ZR2 with 2000 miles on it. I used it to go snowmobiling in the mountains so it had road deicer and yellow pollen everywhere. The lady at the counter said "no problem we can do that. She never said anything else. She gave me a iPod with nothing on it but a place to sign to authorize the work. I was impressed with the guy working in the first stall which was on the other side of a glass wall. I told her that I was tired of taking my vehicles back to my old detailer two or more times to get what they missed the first time. I picked my truck up and she really emphasized the wheels, tires and wheel wells. I noticed that my factory side steps still had sporadic sand still on them. She said that due to the ruff surface that sometimes that won't completely come off. The truck looked good so I signed a blank iPad with signature spot showing only. After that I paid and got a receipt. It wasn't until I got home that I saw the terrible job under my hood. I opened my tailgate and nothing in the bed or 3piece tailgate had been touched. I called and left a message with my concerns. I was contacted before 8am the next by a gentleman. He said they don't do inside the box. WTF? Nothing was ever said about that! That made me go over my truck with a fine tooth comb. The only shampooing done on my carpet was the drivers floorboard around the factory clear plastic protector under the floor mat. Nowhere else. Ver evident because that was the only spot damp. Their website advertised supercar meetups once a month etc. That may be the case. It is GigHarbor. They seem to have the old guy behind the glass as a marketing tool. It worked on me. I didn't even notice the group of guy standing around 4 bays down. They are really who does the work or attempts to. The owner on his call did say to bring it back and he would see what he could do. I didn't because I didn't want to waste half a day screwing around so I didn't go back. He said he would do better the next time I have them detail it. Do they drug test the owners?. I pressure washed my side steps,under my hood and in the box myself. Over $500 for crap work. I think that's to cover that Gig Harbor overhead not the quality of their work. Overall very impressed with the service here. I brought my wife's car in for detailing and it looked awesome after they were completed with it. We transport our 80lbs Doberman in it and there are stains from him all over, I was really hoping they come remove some of the stains and hair and they got it all. They were upfront saying they did not know if they could remove them too. They were on time, very communicative about the process and called us when it was completed. I thought the price was in line with what they offered and I would definitely come back again. They also offer a wide range of services too, window tint, engine cleaning (which I also had completed) and ceramic coating (** If you have newer car this is a must, I have had the last four or five vehicles done and after 10 years my Grand Cherokee paint looked new). Kimball's service was beyond my expectations and simply incredible. The staff were super friendly and professional. I needed two of my headlights restored to like-new condition from the yellowish buildup before my road trip. I drove up to see how much it would cost and when I could schedule it. They said they could do it right then and there on the spot, and their rates were very reasonable. I let them do their magic and, while waiting, a very kind gentleman offered me a chair to sit outside. This small gesture speaks volumes about their commitment to going above and beyond for their customers. While I was waiting, I observed other cars being detailed and could see firsthand how superior their detailing work was. This only reinforced my decision, and I can confidently attest that I would recommend Kimball's for complete detailing work. They were so quick, and I was amazed to see my headlights restored in no time. Joe, Joey and the whole team at this family owned and operated business are AMAZING. My truck was damaged with mold, mildew and saturation so I didn't have high expectations for it to be restored inside. I also was struggling as a single mom financially as I had just paid for it to have a full transmission overhaul. Joe said to bring it out and he would look at it, Sherry made my appointment and was very accommodating of my busy schedule along with how much time was needed as this was our only vehicle. When I dropped my vehicle off, I was greeted warmly by Joey and then Sherry making me more comfortable as my truck is my world just ask my kids lol. As the cleaning was happening Joe communicated through the process letting me know if we needed anything extra and that it was even done early. When I picked up my truck it looked and smelled brand new even better than when I purchased it from the dealer, the TEAM did amazing. Thank you and five stars should stand for excellent!!!! I had never used an auto detailer before but will definitely use Kimball's again. I have always parked my car in a garage but now live in a retirement community and am parking my 3 year old car outside....which, of course, means rain. I had the interior and exterior done and now when it rains, the drops completely bead up on the exterior. They use a special finish which works! Had my new to me convertible ceramic coated and clear bra put on last week. WOW does it look great or what. Absolutely incredible experience. The car was in bad shape after a "milkshake explosion" which was probably far worse the you imagine. Imagine trapping seagulls in the car for a couple days yet they can poop upward to the roof too. I honestly just hoped for it to look better but didn't expect the car interior to look brand new!!! Just picked up the car from Kimball's Hands on Detailing. I have to be 100% honest. The car is 8 years old and 90K+ miles of highway use. It had its share of small highway sand blemishes in the paint and bumper. 8 years worth of swirls and fine scratches from hand and car washes over the years. It is a beautiful car but, I can't believe how Joe Kimball, his family and team were able to bring it back to a near new appearance! The job is just amazing! I wanted to take to take the time to express my gratitude and appreciation for their time and skills. This is one of the most honest and kindest shops I have ever dealt with. From beginning to end the communication was excellent. If your going to spend the time and money to research and acquire your dream car. Last spring/early summer, I had some sour coconut milk spill in my back floorboard. I have rubber WeatherTech floor mats, but it was too much liquid to be contained. What a mess! I was worried it was going to ferment and get worse. Kimball's Hands on Detailing got me right in. They did an amazing job cleaning the mess, that was still left after I had tried to clean it. They used an enzyme killer to make sure the issue was completely resolved. It's been a year, and I have had absolutely no issues. Kimball's was absolutely fantastic to work with!! We noticed shortly after moving to the area that our car had actually begun to show signs of mold on the interior, and started to panic. Thankfully they were there for us! They squeezed us in for a last minute consultation after speaking with them over the phone and then set us up with an appointment as soon as they were able to fit us in. The work they did was FANTASTIC!! They had it done within a few hours of our appointment and the car looked amazing. We haven't seen (or smelled) a hint of mold or mildew since.
