Their main business is feeding Chinese tour groups. The place is okay. Not wonderful but not bad. I had the lunch special M8 crispy duck on mixed meat & vegetables. I know it's weird but the other choices were more weird. It turned out okay. The mix meats where just slices of chicken, pork & beef, stirs fried into the vegetables. The the duck was on top with a scoop of rice on the side. Given all the sausage, schnitzel and pork knuckles I've had in the last week, some vegetables were welcome. Walking into this restaurant for lunch, I felt like Chris Tucker in Rush Hour when he inadvertently stumbled into the back room of a Chinese gambling operation. Just past 2:00pm on a weekday, the place was packed with locals, all of whom looked at us like we didn't belong. Undeterred, we grabbed the last table and perused the menu. The place seems to be run by a single family, and were it back in the states it would be just your average dime-a-dozen Chinese food joint. Sadly, it's just average here as well. The lunch menu offers up a bunch of cheap options, but the crispy duck in sweet and sour sauce I ordered was all sweet, no sour, and entirely forgettable. It was a nice change of pace from all the traditional German and Italian restaurants that litter the Black Forest and Bavarian Alps, but I wouldn't seek it out unless you're sick to death of pizza and schnitzel. read more

Came in for dinner at around 7:30 and the place was pretty quiet with only one other table. There's a large variety of dishes to choose from, as well as some set menus. There is also an English menu, which is helpful! My friends and I decided to try the set menu for 3 people, which was an appetizer, 3 set mains, and a dessert. For the appetizer we chose the soup, which was good but nothing special. The three mains were a chicken dish, fish dish with Sichuan sauce, and a duck dish. Warning-- the chicken and fish are both fried in batter! I was expecting that for the chicken, but the fish being deep friend in small pieces took me by surprise since it said it was a fish filet. The dishes were accompanied by rice. Overall, the mains were ok but definitely not authentic and disappointing. If I can get a similar dish at an Asian fast food place, why would I want it served in a set menu?! For dessert, we got the fried banana with vanilla ice cream. The fried banana reminded me of the Texas State Fair - - hot and freshly made, yet somewhat underwhelming compared to your hopes and dreams for what it could be. The total was 14€ per person. For the amount of food, the price wasn't awful, but at the same time I've definitely had better Asian food at that price point. When we were finishing up, a huge Asian tour group came in and were fed a different pre-set menu, which looked a lot tastier. So perhaps it's important to choose the dishes wisely. read more

So for starters there customer service was really bad and if possible I would have chosen 0 for the stars. So I was going to eat a nice dinner with my girlfriend and friends. We have been eating nothing but delicious food from Italy, Germany, and England. We came from California so we were a little homesick for food. So we figured why not try this Chinese restaurant to give us a taste of back home. (WORST MISTAKE) So we went in we were seated ordered food and everyone was enjoying there food. About 30 minutes of talking about what to do next and eating a fly happens to land on my girlfriends plate... the unfortunate thing is that she didn't know what she wanted at first so she ordered like 10 minute after us. Then to top it all off she had only taken like 7 bites max. Then the fly thing happened when the waitress/owner came to pick up my friends plates and mine we told her about the fly. She didn't seem to understand what I was saying because she wasn't very fluent with English. So I showed her; I picked up the fork got the fly and showed her. She still had the nerve to get the fly off the fork put it on a new napkin to see if it was a real fly. This ticked me off especially because there's a couple of Flies flying around. So then she says, "oh yeah there's flies". Then walks off. She didn't acknowledge us after that so 10 minutes passed and we had to walk to the register to pay. At first I thought she didn't charge us for the plate since I had told her just to charge my girlfriend and I. It was like €8.90 So I was like cool awesome. Then she was charging my girlfriend like €12 so I was like wait were not paying for that because a fly landed on it and she barely touched her food. She was like no you pay. I said no I am not paying for that. She then removed like €2 for the drink and wanted to us to pay for the plate. I told her no, it landed on the food not the drink. She then got frustrated stared to ring up my friends it was like €28.60 for them. So he gave her €30 she later comes back and is demanding that he owes €0.60. My friend says what do you mean I gave you €30 you owe me change. She then got mad and yelled no! Started speaking her language to the cook really pissed off and tossed the money that my friend paid on the table saying look count. So my friend stared counting it was 6 €5 bills equaling a total of €30 she then apologized to him and surprisingly gave him €5 back so he was obviously okay with it. Yet never once apologized for the fly that landed in my girlfriends food and ruined her appetite. If it wasn't for my girlfriend telling me to just pay I would have just left the €3 for her drink and left but I ended up paying €8.60 and stormed out. Definitely Do Not recommend this place unless you like bad service and UNSANITARY flies all over it. read more

TERRIBLE FOOD!!! Avoid this place, I was eating when a fly landed in my food so we let the owner/waitress know she looked at us like she didn't know what we were talking about. We literally had to scoop the fly out of my plate in a napkin so she could see what we were talking about. She still didn't believe us and looked at us like it was a normal thing. She put the fly in her finger and squished it to see if it was real (disgusting) then she pointed at the ceiling trying to say oh yeah we have a lot of flies. It seemed like she got really upset because she walked away and only picked up my other friends and boyfriend plates but not mine. There was no apology or refund. She never came back to pick up my plate and let us wait for at least another 10 minutes for her to come back but she never did. We had to go to the front and pay and still she ignore us. When she finally decided to help us again we ask for a refund. Then again she got upset and started talking in another language. She only removed €2 which was how much my water cost (plate was €8) I didn't finish my food at all. Got a stomachache because of the fly. Then she ignore us again proceed to charge my other friends. Their total was €28.60 they gave her €30 then she ask for €.60 more and one of my friend told her I gave you €30 you owe me change. She went crazy yelling No! No! Made a big dramatic scene that other costumers got aware of what was going on.Then she open her register and gave my friend the money back in a rude way. My friend had to recount money to her. After she realize she was wrong she Gave my friend their cash back. Then she turn to us and ask for the money my boyfriend refused to pay for the whole amount then she started speaking in another language. I just told my boyfriend to pay it. I just wanted to get out of the restaurant as soon as possible since I was getting really sick. When we were walking away her husband was mad dogging me the whole time and telling a group of people something in their language and they were all starting at us like we were the bad person here. Felt really uncomfortable, sick, and humiliated by this people. Hope this help you guys. I had the worst experience ever here and trust me Chinese food is my favorite food!! I wish there was a zero star or thumbs down because they don't even deserve one star!! read more
