After inquiring I found out that the manager insists on people who have the flu and fever showing up sick. My investigator said that she said she only cares about profit NOT people. Customer service today was absolutely unacceptable…read more I understand that the location and surrounding community may have employees on high alert because they have experienced theft, dishonesty, and other issues. But not every customer who walks through those doors is a thief or a criminal, and our skin color should never be a reason to treat us as though we are. I was standing at self-checkout when the employee responsible for assisting customers was having a conversation with a manager instead of helping the people who actually needed assistance. When she finally approached my register, she backed away from my order as if she needed to visually monitor me while she stood there holding a Z-Wave. The message that sent was extremely offensive and completely unnecessary. I highly doubt treating customers as potential thieves is part of Walmart's customer-service training. Then I went to the customer service desk, where the employee repeatedly spoke over me and told me she was "trying to make sure I understood." Yet, after I provided the gift receipt, she ultimately gave me exactly what I had requested. Before seeing that receipt, she was argumentative and made claims about what I could and could not do with the video games that were simply not true. What made this experience even more disappointing is that I am the daughter of a retired Walmart CEO/Vice President. I grew up knowing the importance of customer service, professionalism, and treating people with dignity. What I experienced today was the complete opposite. Whatever is happening in the surrounding community, hard-working, paying customers should not have to walk into Walmart and feel like they are being treated like suspects. We deserve respect just like anyone else. And as I was leaving, the same employee I had to address about the way she was watching me sarcastically yelled, "Have a nice day." It came across as intentionally provoking, rather than genuine customer service. Walmart needs to do better. Leave personal frustrations at home and treat every customer with professionalism and respect. I think I've answered my own question about where I should spend my money next time. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

This was my first experience ordering from this company, and I'm extremely disappointed with how…read morethey handled a simple return mistake. I accidentally included an additional item in my return package and contacted customer service immediately to explain. I had intended on exchanging this item for a smaller size, but saw that they did not have the item in a smaller size. And accidentally left it in the return. I asked that they either return the item to me or issue a refund once they confirmed they had received it. Instead, I was told that because the item wasn't submitted through their Returns Portal, it could be considered "ineligible" and would be "donated". I understand that the mistake was mine, but I don't understand why the company couldn't simply return the item or process a refund. This response was disappointing, especially as a first-time customer, and showed very little understanding or willingness to help.

Intermix is one of those places that caters to the fashion forward but still offers a variety of classic and new trends to keep any of your ladies looking your best. They do feature a very good selection of day and evening wear. Plenty of accessories and shoes from brands like Nicholas Kirkwood, Brian Atwood. Even a bit of Herve Leger (if I'm not mistaken). Price wise however, this store steers to the pricier side and resembles more a very trendy Neiman Marcus rather than a Macy's. The store is smaller too...so selection/sizes may be somewhat limited. Maybe it's my merchandising education, but who the heck presents merchandise in a way that loops a person in and out of the door? You feel like you have to make a couple laps to fully see everything. The past few times I have been there, the employees have seemed fine. Not super in-your-face sales girls, but that may have to do with the fact that I like to shop in my worn out jeans, I love NY t-shirt, and indian boots.
