I immediately called his office to tell him something wasn't right, but nobody returned my calls. I called repeatedly before I *finally* reached someone. They told me to come back in. Upon doing so, Dr. Galst found an astigmatism he had missed a few weeks before, and he gave me a new prescription. So far, so good. Then I went to the front desk to check out, and they wanted to bill me, even though I had already paid at the first appointment. They argued that this second appointment was a new examination. I contended that it was a follow-up to fix an error that had been made the first time and that I should not be charged, since it was not MY error. They argued that I could've developed the astigmatism in the short period between the two appointments, but said they would see what they could do. Shortly after, I received a bill in the mail--so much for seeing what they could do--and when I called to contest it, they again argued that the second appointment was a new examination. What a crock! When I took the new prescription to the glasses place and told them the story, they were as aghast as I. They said that patients regularly need new prescriptions tweaked and that they have NEVER heard of an eye doctor charging for such an appointment. Lucky me--I'm the first. I will not be returning to Dr. Galst. Everyone sometimes misses things; that I can live with. I can also live with the inconvenience of having to go in for two appointments and with the pain of having to have my brand new glasses sent out to be corrected to match the new prescription. (Thank goodness the glasses place did NOT charge for that!) But to have to pay for two separate appointments, when the second one was to correct something that was missed at the first? C'mon. That's unfair. The cherry on the sundae? I dug up a prescription from an eye doctor from the year before and she had noted the astigmatism. So, as I suspected, it was there all along.

Not so. After having read other reviews about how long of a wait it is, I specifically asked when I showed up for my visit if the doctor was running on time. I was told that he was. A flat out lie. Completely. Another issue this doctor should be made aware of is his staff. When I arrived, one of the girls at the front desk was on a personal phone call, and after just standing in front of her for about a minute, was told by someone else to fill out paperwork, all the time being ignored by the girl on her phone. In summary, plan on being here an hour or more. And forget about the appointment time. It means nothing to the staff working there anyway.

I think we can all agree, that's some scary stuff that demands the attention of a competent eye doctor. Unfortunately, I didn't find a competent eye doctor until last week. Enter Dr. Pierotti. He's awesome, friendly, and, best of all, thorough as all get out It took him an hour of examination to determine my issue and how to best resolve it but it was all worth it. My blurriness is clearing (thank God) and he's scheduled me in for another appointment to check on the status next week. Best of all? The free drops and the affordable co-pay. Love me some Dr. Pierotti.

Dr. Warshay is a fantastic optometrist. I have been going to him for years and trust him completely…read morewith my eyes. He is patient and will always listen to the problems I'm describing and work to find the best match for my vision needs. The office is clean and well-run. They have a great selection of frames and sunglasses, and they will let you try on all of them until you find one you love. Dr. Warshay always works with you to find rebates for your contacts, and will ship them to your house or let you pick them up. I've never waited more than 10 minutes to see Dr. Warshay. He is friendly and always asks remembers personal details that make him so much more approachable. He works hard to make sure you're seeing the best that you can, whether that means 5 minutes or 50 minutes in the chair saying "No, 3 is definitely clearer." I have always felt confident in Dr. Warshay's advice. I completely recommend him as an optometrist. He is honest and good at what he does. Your eyes are in good hands!

I had order my contacts lenses once before with Doctor Warshay and they ordered me the right size lenses and I was satisfy, but I came back next year (2013) and I decided to order from them from Doctor's Warshay again but, this time when I found out they order me the wrong size contact lenses which I can not wear them at all because, they are bigger and when I blink they bother me or they come out of my eyes. I called the office and spoke to the office Manager and I explained to her my concern. She told me they couldn't do anything about it because, I opened the box of the wrong size lenses they ordered me. I fallowed by asking her who I can talk to about this matter other then her, because, she was not helping me at all and I need new contacts and it's Christmas season I don't have the money to buy more at the moment. She expressed to me by saying "that's not her problem" I then, said to her so, can you tell me who fault is it and she said "Nobody" when I know if I had order them myself I should had placed the right size order and if I see that they don't carry my size I would had not placed the order. Then, I kept asking her to let me talk to the Dr. Warshay myself and she said "we already talk to him about this matter there's NOTHING he can do for you". All I wanted was an explanation why I got the wrong size lenses which I payed already and they couldn't fix their own mistake. I am not the kind of person who complains at all but, in this case I felt ignored and disrespected when I expressed my concern. Now, when I told the office manager that I was going to write a review and a letter her response to me was the words "OKAY" as simple as that and then she hanged up the phone. Doctor Jeffrey Warshay and his office manager didn't have any concern about my situation. Now, what I suppose to do? I have no money to buy new contact lenses and most important I didn't get the costumer service that I was expecting from Doctor Warshay's office. I'ts really sad to come along with people like these who, only take your money but, they have no concern about your well being. I learned about this experienced and this feeling of hopelessness that I should remember this feeling very clear so, I don't do it to anyone of my costumers. That is fine, send me to collections. My credit can take the ding.

It's pretty obvious that Dr. Miller takes lots of pride in this office & cares so much about patient experience. After having done 3 different LASIK consultations I decided to go with him and after completing the procedure yesterday I can honestly say my life has changed with this. Everyone was quick and efficient in their own ways. They're also thorough and will give answers to any questions you have. This clinic accepts cash and card. Card has a fee if you dont have enough cash. Highly recommend calling in to make an appointment beforehand or you would have to wait for a while.

I came here for an annual eye exam. I actually haven't gone through a comprehensive exam for years…read moreafter my previous doctor stopped accepting my insurance. My parents came to see Dr. Roberts since COVID and praised their facilities. I finally decided to try coming after my parents' good experiences. I'm actually changing my insurance next year, so I don't think I will bother coming again even if they accept the new one. Multiple things I don't like: - They don't accept FSA/HSA cards. They charge a fee for regular credit cards too. I think it's so unreasonable for health facilities to accept insurances but not insurance payment cards. Everyone in this community is just used to paying things by cash and no one bothers with insurance cards. I can't tolerate a provider that doesn't match my lifestyle needs. - Crowded and long waits. When my parents first going during COVID, maybe less people went to non-urgent doctor visits, but they were saying how the waiting room is very spacious. When I went, I spent 3 hours at the clinic and most of my time was spent waiting. I was literally bumping shoulders with other patients sitting and waiting there. - Waiting room window. It's so sunny in the afternoon. Their blinds are insufficient to block out light. When your pupils are dilated (or anyone else there with eye problems), it's not healthy to be sitting in such a bright environment. There's not that many places you can look away to since the window lights up the whole waiting room and would reflect off of the furniture. I literally spent so much time just staring at my own lap. - Getting handled by multiple people. If I remember correctly, I went through maybe 5 different people for each step of the examination (plus plenty of waiting in between) including Dr. Roberts. It didn't make me feel like they were specializing steps. It just made me feel like I was getting whisked around from person to person. I didn't know who to look out for to go to my next procedure or who in general is taking care of me. In fact, I can't even tell who is Dr. Roberts until I finally met a woman who introduced herself as such. I literally haven't seen her around the clinic all afternoon except when she came to see me. - Rude attitude. My discussion with the reception around FSA/HSA cards was fun enough. I also don't like how they don't explain what needs happen at each step. I literally haven't been to an eye doctor in 5+ years. Don't complain about me hesitating over where to put my head and stuff. I keep having memories of a previous eye clinic where the machine blows a puff of air in your eyes to measure pressure or something and I hated it. I can't help but think about that whenever my eyes get really close to any apparatus and naturally jerk away. I can apply eye drops myself by looking into a mirror and placing accurate drops, so I don't do as well when people just drip things from mid-air. I don't appreciate hearing a rude comment about how I am sensitive. Regardless if I am or not, you should be treating patients with TLC.
