These guys did a parachute repack on our Cirrus along with a few other things. On budget, it looked beautiful and a day ahead of schedule.

Los Angeles International Airport - LAX

Definitely not my favorite place to fly into. Traffic around Los Angeles International Airport was…read moreinsane trying to get back home, and the drivers around the airport were pretty aggressive, which made the experience feel hectic and stressful. I will say the TSA process moved surprisingly fast, which helped make things a little smoother. However, the airport could definitely improve the overall experience by adding more quality restaurant options and doing a better job maintaining and cleaning the bathrooms. It gets the job done, but there's still a lot of room for improvement considering how busy and major this airport is.

Unfortunately I avoid flying into or out of LAX as much as possible for a number of reasons. 1st of all it's a madhouse 24/7/365. 2ndly there's constant construction, detours, closures, and most importantly chaotic traffic. 3rd the homeless are everywhere and a constant issue but the city attorney's office tells staff that there's nothing that can be done about them. I'm curious how this will be dealt with or ignored in the upcoming world cup in 2026, the super bowl in 2027 and especially the Olympics in 2028. 4th LAX executive management cut the custodial staff 20 years ago and more recent executives have never restored the custodial staff to levels where they can reasonably keep the airport clean, especially the restrooms. This is exacerbated by the strange division of custodial responsibility between LAX custodians, airline custodians, and contract custodians which leads to all 3 groups often seeing something that needs cleaning but it's not their responsibility so they walk right past. This leaves passengers and sometimes even employees thinking that they just don't care. Long story short, I fly through LAX when I have to or the flight is significantly cheaper but it will never be my airport of choice.
